Chapter 11

I was laying on the grass at the park. I liked nature. Doesn't matter if there's a lion near by, I would just lay down and look at the pretty trees or even the sky. I guess it's because I didn't have much to do at the orphanage, so I took nature as my friend.
But, I'm better now. I have great friends and everything has worked itself out. But, I can't help but feel a little disappointed that Leo has to kiss someone else as work as I just lay here. Also kinda mad that that girl isn't me.
But, I'm not gonna talk about my feelings. I'm over them.
I'll just... Let everything flow.
Its a Saturday (which means I have the weekend off). Summer and I have already gotten all the boxes out and we're gonna move a desk into the desk soon.
I turned over and laid on my stomach.
I feel like doing something... Crazy.
I put chin on my hand as I thought. I sighed deeply.
The feeling of Leo's arms wrapped around me crossed my mind. I shook my head and put my head down.
Stupid feelings.
I walked with my bag slung over my shoulder.
"Naomi!" Someone called. I turned around and saw Noah running my way.
Oh no. I turned around from him and I continued walking as if I hadn't heard him.
"Naomi." He said out of breath as he stood in front of my path, not allowing me to walk past him.
"What do you want?" I asked as I tried to go around him. He stepped in front of me. He put his hands on my shoulders to make sure I stayed in place.
"I'm sorry for everything. I'm also sorry if I scared you a bit." He said.
"You didn't scare me." I snapped as I shrugged his hands off my shoulders.
"Just stay away from me." I said as I started running past him.
"Naomi!" He called after me. Although, he didn't follow me. I started walking once I got to the street. I adjusted my bag and I continued walking. This is the street where I bumped my head and pasted out...
I sighed as I continued walking.
"Naomi." Someone said behind me.
"I said leave me al-"
I turned around and noticed it was Leo.
"Hi." I said.
"Hi." He said.
He grabbed my wrist and pulled me along with him.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see." He smiled as he pulled me along with him.

Leo stopped walking in front of the local pool.
"What are we doing here?" I asked as I saw other people in the pool.
"I'm here to teach you to swim." He said as he handed me a bathing suit.
"How did you even get my size right?" I asked as I looked at the black bathing suit.
"Mason told me." He said.
"How does Mason know?" I asked.
Leo laughed and lightly pushed me towards the bathrooms.
"No more questions. Just change." He said.
"Okay Captain." I said as I walked into the restroom.
He smiled and shook his head.

I came out with the bathing suit on and my shirt over it.
The distant splash of water and the laughs of other people made me weirdly nervous. I saw Leo waiting for me near the pool. I sighed and I walked towards him.
"Great. Okay. So we're going to just walk in the shallow end first." He said.
He began walking towards the shallow end of the pool.
"Wait!" I said as I pulled onto his sleeve. He turned around.
"I don't think I can do this." I mumbled.
"You'll be fine. I'll be there the whole entire time." He said as he grabbed my wrist and dragged me along with him.
"Leo! I'm serious." I said.
"You'll be fine." He said. He got into the shallow end and it was to his mid thigh.
I sighed and I walked to where he was, which was to my hips.
I sighed.
"I seriously don't think I can do this." I mumbled.
He rolled his eyes.
"Come on. Just step a little farther into the pool." He said as he moved farther from the shallow end.
I sighed and I followed him.
Okay then.
I'm doing okay so far.
He picked me up my the waist and he started walking towards the deep end.
"Leo!" I screamed.
"Don't worry. I'd never let you drown." He said as he stopped in the middle of the pool. He put me down and the water was up to my neck.
"Are you kidding me?" I asked as I jumped up. He picked me up again.
"Better?" He asked.
"Way better." I sighed in relief.
"We're gonna both go down underwater. Are you ready?" He asked.
"No! Leo!" But he brought me down under the water along with him.
I was freaking out for a second, but then I opened my eyes, and I could see Leo watching me. He smiled.
I calmed down a little. Then, the craziest thing happened. He grabbed my face underwater and he pressed his lips against mine. I was a little taken back. I never thought my first kiss would be underwater. I soon felt way calmer then before and I didn't know where to put my hands. Do I put them on his shoulders?
I put my hand on his shoulder. And I was running out of breath. I think he could tell, cause he pulled me back up with him.
I gasped for breath.
Best swimming lesson ever.
