Leo came back (like he promised) and he said he was done for the day. I nodded and he guided me outside.
"So, what do you want to do for fun?" He asked. I shrugged as I noticed that the sky was various shades of pink and orange.
"How about we go ice skating?" He asked.
"Ice...skating?" I asked. I didn't know what Ice skating was. I mean, of course I've heard the name but I don't know what you do.
"You don't know ice skating?" He asked. I shook my head.
"No...what is it?" I asked feeling a bit dumb.
"You put on skates and you walk on ice."
"Walk on ice? Doesn't sound like fun." I said.
"Trust me. It is." He said as he grabbed my hand and guided me towards a building across the street," you're going to love it."

I walked into the building and it was freezing! I shivered slightly.
He looked at the skate shoes and he asked for my size.
"I'm a 6." I said quietly afraid id shiver again.
He picked out the size six shoes and handed them to me. I was a little surprised at how much they weighed! I grabbed them and walked to a bench to sit down.
I sat down and I started putting them on.
How the hell do you tie these things? It's so complicated, it's not like your average shoe lace either.
"I'll tie them." Leo suggested as he kneeled down and grabbed my foot.
"I'll do it." I said.
"No, really I want too."
I looked at him but then I nodded.
"Leo..." I said as I watched him tie the confusing laces.
"Yes?" He asked as he was really concentrated with the laces.
"Why are you so nice to me?" I asked. He froze and slowly looked up at me.
"Naomi, why can't someone be nice to you because they want to be nice to you? Why do they have to have a reason? I'm nice to you cause I want to be nice to you. You're special." He said as he continued tying my shoe laces.
I took that information in.
"Thanks." I mumbled. He finished typing my shoes and he started putting his on.
We didn't talk for the time he put his shoes on. I couldn't tell if he was shy or nervous or if he just plainly doesn't want to talk to me.
He stood up and grabbed my wrist and guided me towards the ice. A lot of kids were skating on it as if it was no big deal. Well it's a big deal!
"Wait. Leo, I don't think I can do this." I said. As I grabbed his jacket.
"You'll be fine. Just don't let go of me."
"Go slow okay?" I asked.
"Okay."
He stepped onto the ice and I stepped next. It was sooo slippery. I gripped more onto Leo as I took deep breaths.
"You're fine Naomi." He said as he grabbed my hand from his jacket and pulled me so I was in front of him.
"Just relax." He said. I nodded and I looked at my feet.
Leo's grip slowly loosened without my noticing and he let go.
"Leo!" I said as I wobbled a little.
"You're doing great." He said.
"Leo..." I said as I tried skating forwards. I fell forward and didn't land on top of him, but in front of him. He tried hard not to laugh as he sat down on the ice and he tried looking at my face, which was on the floor. I used my arms to pick up my head and I looked at him.
"You are so mean." I said as I blew hair out of my face.
"And you are..." He paused and the tension started building," pathetic" he said jokingly. I sighed as I stared up at him.
He leant out his hands for me to grab and pull me up.
I took a hold of his hands and I tugged onto them. He fell sideways and fell onto the ice.
"How was that?" I asked as I tried not to laugh. He groaned with pain and started laughing.
"Fair game Naomi. Fair game." He said as he turned his head towards me. I turned my head towards him and we kinda froze.
Just staring at each other and admiring each other were the best moments with Leo. Those were the moments I wouldn't forget. This is a moment I wouldn't forget. I broke the silence by standing up.
"We should really hurry. It's gonna be dark later and I want to wake up early so I can visit Mason." I said.
"Right." Leo said as he stood up and brushed himself off.

It's been about 2 hours and I finally have this skating thing down. I mean, I'm not perfect, but I'm getting there.
I was sent by Leo to get hot chocolate while he gave the shoes back. I approached the snack bar and a women stood there.
She was a little taller then me and had brown hair and light brown eyes. It looked like she was really tired and could use a weeks full nap. But, I won't judge. You never know what's happening in a persons life by just looking at them.
"Hi. Can I have two hot chocolates?" I asked as I put my five dollar bill on the table.
She nodded as she told the woman in the back to get them.
The woman who looked tired leaned forward as if something was a secret.
"Did you two come together?" She asked me as she looked at Leo.
"As a couple? No." I shook my head.
Why would she think that?
"It's a shame." She shook her head.
"Why is it a shame? We're only friends." I asked.
"Is that really what you want?" She asked. I eyed her carefully. Why is a stranger giving me life lessons? And how does she know so much? She laughed softly and leaned back.
"I saw you two over there. I also heard about you and him on the news about the fire." She pointed towards my bandaged hand. I quickly covered the bandage with my sleeve.
"Love only makes you that crazy, sweetheart." She said.
The hot chocolate was placed in front of me, but I didn't move. I just stared at the women. Love? I grabbed the hot chocolates and I immediately dropped one due to it being hot. It spilled all over my shirt and I groaned.
"Naomi!" Leo rushed over and he picked up the cup from the ground. The women looked at Leo and then to me. Then she winked.
I looked at her weirdly. How could she possibly know anything about me?
Leo shook my shoulders.
"Naomi?" He said. I zoned back.
"What?" I asked feeling a bit dumb.
"Let's take you to the bathroom to dry up." Leo said as he guided me towards the bathroom as I looked at the woman.
This girl is weird. Love Leo? I don't think so...
