{Naomi's P.O.V}
I was now shivering uncontrollably. I laid down and I curled into a ball. Numbness started spreading to my head as I weakly called out
"Please. Someone." I whispered.
My eyes slowly started getting heavier.
Come on Naomi. You can't give up.
But I was too weak. At this point, I couldn't even sit up. I laid there with my head staring at the door that was yet to be opened. Just when I lost hope, I heard a slight noise from the outside of the freezer. I can't scream anymore. I weakly lifted up my arm and I hit the door once. I heard the door open and Leo stood there.
"Naomi!" He picked me up and he cleared room on the table. He laid me on the table and he took off his jacket. He laid his jacket onto me.
"What happened?" He asked as he rubbed my arms up. I looked at my hand and I saw it was a light blue.
"T-the girls..." I mumbled. I shivered again.
"Girls?" Leo asked.
I looked at him and I nodded weakly.
"How long were you in there?" He asked. He looked scared of the answer.
"An hour? Or t-two..." I said. I could finally feel my fingertips as Leo grabbed my hands and breathed on them to keep them warm.
"You're freezing." He mumbled. I nodded.
"T-thanks for being h-here." I said through shivers.
"I should've came sooner." Leo shook his head as he hugged me tightly. It wasn't because he wanted to hug me. It was because he was warm and I wasn't.
"You came r-right on time." I mumbled.
"No... I didn't. I talked to the teacher and she said that you were volunteering here..." Leo said. He let go of me and smiled.
"You're going to be okay now Naomi." He said. For some reason, those words seemed to bring me warmth in a weird sense.
I could suddenly stop shivering and my feeling came back all over my body.
"Are you ready to tell me those girls names?" Leo asked.
I shook my head.
"I'm not going to tell you those girls' names." I said.
"Why not?" Leo asked.
"Because I need to fight my own battles. Leo, I love you and everything, but I need to do this by myself." I said.
"As in with Summer..." He mumbled as he smiled. I nodded.
"Fine. I'll let you be." He shrugged.
"Thanks." I smiled.
I jumped off of the table and I instantly fell down. Leo shook his head at me.
"I guess I still don't have feeling in my legs..." I said as I laughed awkwardly.
-
Halloween is officially tonight and there's this big Halloween dance thing. I swear, college kids can act like middle schoolers sometimes. I sighed.
The dance is kinda creepy though. We all have to wear masks so no one knows who's who. I'm currently at Summers house to get ready.
I put on my costume and I stepped out of the bathroom.
"Creepy. So you're a witch?" Summer asked.
"Well, I don't have a broom or a pointing hat, but yup. Leo and I aren't matching costumes, which is good for me." I smiled.
"Do you even know what he's gonna be?" Summer asked. I shook my head.
"He wouldn't tell me. He said it would be more fun if we found eachother on our own." I tried not to laugh at the thought of Leo being something ridiculous.
"What do you think he'll be?" Summer asked. I shrugged.
"I don't know. Something funny?" I asked. Summer smiled. I laughed as I laid on the bed.
"I hope he doesn't embarrass me..." I mumbled jokingly.
"It's Leo, of course he'll embarrass you." Summer said. I laughed as I rolled over.
-
I arrived at the party with summer. Anticipation was electrified through my whole body. How the hell am I going to know who's who... I sighed as Summer and I entered the party. A candy station, monster mash playing in the background, the tons and tons of people in costume were absolutely amazing.
"I swear, it's as if they're a bunch of twelve year olds..." Summer mumbled as she motioned towards the monster mash playing.
I rolled my eyes.
"I think it's fun." I said as I urged her to come with me to sit down in the many tables.
She groaned but walked with me towards a table.
"Where do you think Leo is?" Summer asked. I shrugged as I ordered a drink.
The waiters were dressed like hogwarts students, which I can relate to in some sense.
The drink came to my table and I sighed again.
Where the hell is he?
-
"Get me another drink." Summer mumbled. She was already drunk and we've only been here for an hour and a half. I sighed as I stood up and walked towards the bar. I looked around in hopes of finding Leo.
I saw no hope as I crossed the photobooth. Someone reached out from the photobooth, grabbed me and then pulled me in with them.
"Woah!" I screamed as I fell backwards into them. The photobooth began taking pictures.
I looked up to see Leo. He smiled down at me as I felt butterflies fill my stomach.
Flash, a photo was taken.
He kissed me as he put a hand on my cheek and pulled me closer with his other hand.
Flash, another photo was taken.
"Leo, I have to go help Summer." I mumbled as I pushed him away. He smiled as he nodded.
Flash, another photo.
"Right right. I just wish other people didn't get in the way of us." Leo mumbled as he walked out of the photobooth. I quickly grabbed the pictures and I rushed out with him.
-
I have basically lost Leo again and I have two drinks in my hand. I walked towards summer and I set a drink down in front of her. She was all woozy.
"I'm gonna go...find Leo." She mumbled as she stood up. She began to fall.
I caught her and I growled under my breath.
"That's it. I'm taking you home." I said.
"But Naomi!" She exclaimed.
I raised an eyebrow.
I have to get her out of here.
I got her out of the party and I had her leaning on my shoulder as I guided her down the road. She began laughing.
"What are you laughing at?" I asked.
"It's nothing." Summer giggled.
"Nothing?" I asked.
"Just d-don't tel Leo I told you." She mumbled. I nodded.
"Leo told m-" she vommitted in front of me. I groaned and I patted her on the back.
I wonder what Leo told her...
