I walk to our front door and just want to open the door when Mia takes my hand. I bend down and smile.
"You don't have to be afraid Mia. He will like you I promise." Mia nods and I open the door and we walk into the livingroom together where we see Ezra sit on the sofa. I smile and sit down next to him with Mia between us.
"Your my Daddy? Your the one who always gave me the cookies right?"
"That's right. And what is your name?" Mia looks at me and I nod my head.
"I'm Mia Madelyn Fitz. And what's your name?" Ezra gasps and looks at me. I smile and nod because he had no idea I gave Mia his last name.
"I'm Ezra Fitz." Mia looks at me and smiles.
"Mommy. Daddy and I have the same name."
"That's right Mia." A few seconds later Mia hugs Ezra and he smiles.
"Mommy can he stay for dinner?"
"If Ezra wants to?" Mia looks at Ezra with puppy eyes and Ezra nods.
"Can I show Ezra my room while you are making dinner?"
"Sure sweetheart." Mia grabs Ezra's hand and the two of them walk into her bedroom. But Ezra looks at me and before they walk in her room Ezra mouths a thank you to me. And I know that I have made the right decision for telling him about Mia.
