~three days later~
Today is December 1 and I will finally see Ezra tomorrow. Mia stayed at my parents place for the weekend and right now I am picking her up. I talked with her every night she always asks where her Daddy is. When I get to my parents place I run to the door and wait until it opens. A few seconds later the door opens and Mia is standing infront of me with my mom beside me. I hug my mom and bend down to hug my daughter.
"Hi sweetie. I missed you."
"I missed you too momma. Where is Madeline?"
"In the car. You can go to her if you want." Mia nods and says by to my mom and then she runs to my car. I turn my attention to my mom and try to smile. She dosen't need to find out about Ezra beeing in prison so I need to come up with a lie.
"Where is Ezra Aria?"
"He had to fly away but he will most likely be back in one week." My mom nods and hugs me. I thank her for taking care of Mia and walk back to the car where Mia is already sitting next to her sister.
"Momma where are we going now?"
"Back home." She nods and as I continue to drive home Mia sings along to her frozen Songs. When I get back home I get both of my girls out from the car and walk into the livingroom. As soon as we are inside Mia begins to search for her Daddy. I put Madeline in her playpen and a few seconds later Mia comes running to me already on the erge of tears. I take her hand and we walk into the livingroom and place her on my lap.
"Momma? Where is Daddy?" I stroke away her tears and look at her.
"Sweetheart you have to listen carefully alright?" Mia nods and waits for me to continue.
"Your Daddy has to fly away but he will be back soon. I promise. And he told me that I should tell you that he loves you and can't wait until he is back." Mia nods and snuggles into my neck. I know that it was hard for her but we can't change anything now.
