"Are you ready then Mia? Call every color out loud." Mia calls out the colors while the nurse inserts the tube in her arm.
"So who is coming with you when we go to see the Doctor. Your Mommy or your Daddy?" Mia frowns as she thinks what she should do. I smile and stroke her hair from her face.
"We won't be sad. If you want Daddy I am not sad and the same is for Daddy."
"I want momma to come with me."
"That's alright Sweetheart. Daddy and Madeline will wait here until you come back. You are my brave little girl and Mommy will stay with you until you are fast asleep and we all will be here when you wake up. Alright love bug?" Ezra says as he kisses her foread.
"I love you too Daddy." I smile as Ezra kisses Mia one more time and turns his attention to me.
"I love you Aria and I will see you once you are back alright?" I nod and Ezra kisses me on the lips. And a few minutes later Mia and I are in the operating room. Well I definitly didn't expect this when I woke up today.
(Ezra's POV)
It's been 20 minutes since they have gone into the operating room and I am really nervous. The doctor told us that Mia will be herself in no time again. I get off from my thoughts when I hear Madeline crying. I stand up and pick her up.
"Hey shh...Daddy is here. What's wrong pumpkin?" She snuggles into my neck and is asleep a few seconds later. I lay down on the bed with Mia on my chest and fall asleep also.
"Ezra? Ezra wake up." I wake up and turn around to see that Aria is standing beside the bed. She takes Madeline from me and places her in her crib and lays down beside me.
"Is she alright? How is my little girl?"
"She was really brave and cried a bit but fall asleep a few minutes later."
"I am glad. When will she be back?"
"The doctor told me that it won't be Long. But she will be very sleepy when she gets back." I nod and Aria cuddles with me while we wait for Mia to arrive.
