Family Dinner II

~30 minutes later~
The last thirty minutes we stayed here and twenty minutes ago Mike came with his new girlfriend. Her name is Nayla and she seems really nice. She has brown long her and is as tall as I am. My parents are in the kitchen and they told us that the dinner will be ready in ten minutes. Ezra plays with Mia some sort of game while I talk with Mike's new girlfriend. Mike has Madeline since he is here and I don't think Ezra or I will get her back soon.
"So since when are you and Mike together?"
"Not for a long time. Only for six months." I nod and smile at her. Just as Mia runs to sit on my lap my mom walks into the kitchen and tells us that dinner is ready. I nod and we all walk into the dining room together. We sit down and begin to eat. My mom did an great job with it. I love eating at my parents place because we are all here as a family and my mom always cooks the best things. When we are finished with dinner I tell them that they can go back into the livingroom while Mike and I do the dishes. While we clean the dishes Mike and I talk about everything and it's just like old times.
"I really like your girlfriend Mike. But your together since six months with her and if you would have told me about her sooner she could have had come to my baby shower."
"I know but I wanted to wait."
"I understand you Mike but she is really nice and I am really happy for you."
"Thank you Ar." When we are finished with cleaning the table we walk back into the livingroom they are sitting and talk for awhile. When Mia sees me she smiles and runs into my arms.
"Momma."
"Hey munchkin. Your tired?"
"No can I sleep at uncle Mikes place?"
"Sweetheart I don't think this is a good idea."
"Momma please."
"You can stay at your grandparents place for the night?"
"No please momma. Uncle Mike please can I sleep at your place for the night? I will be extra brave and won't cry."
"Pumpkin I can't say anything if your mommy says no but you can sleep at my place if your parents say yes."
"Mike are you sure? Isn't Layla also staying for the night? And you don't even know if she wants this?"
"No Aria really your daughter can really stay at her uncles place and I love children." I look at Ezra and he nods his head.
"Well Mia Daddy is also saying yes so you can stay at uncle Mikes place for the night. But we will pick you up tomorrow morning alright?" Mia nods and hugs me. I tell Mike that I will pick her up at 11 a.m. and that I am thankfull that he is watching her for the night. Mia has a few cloths and toys at his place so I don't have to bring her something. We stay for one more hour until we all call it a night and drive back home. We had a great time and Mike's new girlfriend is really nice.
