Back at home

~next day~
Yesterday Mia had her last check up and now we are on the way back home. The last three days were really eventfull but I am happy that Mia is alright again.
"Your exited to be at home again love bug?"
"Yeah. I missed my room and my stuffed animals." I smile and look at her. Ezra drove with Madeline back home while I stayed with Mia one more night in the hospital. When I Mia and I get out of the car Mia runs to the front door where Ezra and Madeline are already waiting for us. When she sees them she jumps out of the car and runs to the two of them.
"Sweetheart slow down please." But before I can say anything Mia is already in Ezra's arms. When I get to them I kiss Ezra and take Madeline from his arms.
"And? How was she?"
"Madeline?"
"Of course Madeline Ezra. Who else do you think I mean?"
"I don't know."
"Mia Daddy is beeing silly."
"Daddy is always silly Momma."
"Yeah your right princess. Should we go inside? It is getting cold out here." Mia nods and we walk inside together. Yesterday we bought Mia a dog for beeing so brave and I am exited how she will react. Mia and I sit down with Madeline in my arms while Ezra gets her the present.
"Momma? Where did Daddy go?" Just when I want to answer her Ezra walks into the room. When Mia sees the present she smiles and runs to Ezra and smiles.
"What is in here Daddy?"
"Sit down next to Mommy and I give it to you." Mia nods and sits down next to me. Ezra smiles and gives the present to Mia. Mia looks at me and I nod so that she knows that she can openthe present. When Mia opens her present she looks at me and gasps.
"Momma it's a dog."
"I see. It is what you wished for right?"
"Yeah. Can we keep it?"
"It is your dog princess."
"Thank you. What is it's name?"
"The dog is a girl and you can name it how you want it."
"Can we name her Cupcake?"
"You want to name Cupcake?"
"Yes please."
"Then her name will be Cupcake." I smile and kiss her forhead. The rest of the day we all relax on the sofa and are glad that Mia is herself again.
