Chapter 35
Mitch POV

Our eyes locked. I couldn't seem to look away. I was too shocked. I couldn't believe that she was actually here, in front of me.

"Mitch?" She said. My breath hitched and I swear my heart skipped a beat.

"Lisa.."

I stared at her, taking in the way she looked incase this was the last time I would see her again. Even in a t shirt and yoga pants she still loves beautiful. I looked at her stomach.. The baby has grown so much and I missed all of it.

I stood up, moving from my place on the sofa. Vanessa and Jerome stood behind her as if observing how this would go. I took a step closer to her.

"I um.. I have to go to the b-bathroom." She said and bolted to the stairs and disappeared.

I looked at Jerome and Vanessa and sighed.  I looked down. "I didn't know she could run that fast.." I said with a sad smile.

"I'll go talk to her." Vanessa said. She followed Lisa up the stairs, leaving Jerome and I alone.

"So congrats on the engagement buddy!" I said giving Jerome a quick hug, trying to change the mood.

"Thanks man.. One question. Why are you here? You called saying you came home and didn't explain."

I sat back down on the sofa. "I guess it's because I miss being around my friends and talking to you guys on the daily. Since I quit YouTube I really don't talk to the guys anymore. I also broke up with my girlfriend.. I wouldn't even call her a girlfriend. I guess she was just there to keep me company."

I put my head in my hands. "Other reason being, I want to get back together with Lisa. I can't stand the thought of not being with her. I also don't want to picture her with someone else. I was hoping to run-by what I was going to say with you and Vanessa, then I'd was going to go to Texas and tell her how I feel.." I explained.

"Well maybe you being here is a good thing for that situation. Just don't drop everything on her in one day" Jerome smiled.

"I know. Thanks Jerome."

Lisa POV

"Come in, only if your Vanessa." I said. The door opened and my best friend walked in. "Nice room you chose to hide in." She said with a chuckle. I gave a small laugh back sitting back in my original position on the floor.

"Well it was the only room I actually remember and I knew it had a bathroom." I answered. Six months ago, I opened the door to this room and it changed my entire life.

I sighed. "Why is he here?.." I bring my knees as close as I can to myself. Vanessa sat down beside me. "I don't know, but please don't leave. I miss you being around Lis."

I gave my twin a soft smile. "I'll make you a deal." I start. "I'll stay for 6 days and if we can't get along or something bad happens, I'm going back.. Deal?" I pitch.

"Okay. Deal." Vanessa says. "What do I do now though? I practically ran away from him." I said.

Vanessa laughed. "Well I wouldn't blame you. I'll stay by your side the entire time." She says.

"Thank you." Thunder rolled outside, causing Vanessa to jump. "Well I guess it's going to be a rainy day!" I said getting excited about the weather.

"Come on let's go." I said. Vanessa stood up and I gave her my hands to pull me up as well.

We walked downstairs and I ignored the boys sitting on the couch and walked straight to the door. I opened the door and the smell of rain smacked me in the face.
