Chapter 34
Lisa POV
            A surprise awakening
"Lisa wake uppppp you have to get ready!" I felt a weight fall on my bed and I opened my eyes.
Vanessa was sitting on my bed staring at me. "Okay twin. Okay. I feel you starting. I'll get up." I said with a laugh.
"Okay good now go shower. Jerome and I will wait downstairs."
I got up and headed to my shower. The water was warm and I did my usual morning routine.
Today was my baby shower. It's been almost seven months since I got pregnant.. Six months since I heard from him. I started to cry. I sat down and started crying into my hands.
I couldn't help but think since I do it all the time. Think about him. It ever fails. "Amara I'm so sorry." I hug my stomach. "I'm sorry your daddy couldn't be here with us. I'm sorry I messed up. I promise I will try to give you the best future I possibly can."
                              ----
Jerome POV
I sat with Vanessa and Lisa's mom in the living room. Today was finally the day and I couldn't be more nervous.
I tried to look nice. I was wearing a light pink shirt and dark pants with white shoes. The doorbell rang. "I'll get it." I said.
I opened the door and a postman was standing there with a package. "Package for Lisa Garza." He said. "I'll take it." I signed off for the package and turned back to the living room.
"Lisa got a package?" I asked. "I didn't know she ordered anything. Where's the address from?" Lisa's mom asked.
"108 Rodeo Drive, Montreal Canada. From.." I paused. So this was Mitch's package.
"From who?" Vanessa asked. "From Mitchell Hughes."

Lisa POV
I eventually stopped crying. I got dressed in yoga pants and a grey maturity shirt. I was going to change in a bit anyways.
I didn't bother doing my makeup or hair because I was going to go get them done. I put on my brown moccasins and went down stairs taking every step as slow as I can.
I walk down to see Jerome standing there with a package in hand. Vanessa and my mom looking a bit shocked. "What's going on?"
Jerome jumped unaware I was behind him. "What's the package?" I asked. "I-It's from the guys. A baby shower gift." Jerome said.
"Oh well I'll open it later." I said. "Come on let's go I wanna get this party going!" I yell. I went to grab my keys from the kitchen to have Vanessa pull them out of my hand.
"I'll drive you can get in the backseat." She said. "Oh praise Jesus."
We said goodbye to my mom and headed to the salon.
I got my hair and makeup done. I even got Vanessa to treat herself. After all this day is more about her than me. I'm so excited. I can't believe I'm the one who helped to make it possible.
Once we were done with our makeovers. I headed to the dress shop to change into my dress. It was a coral dress that went down to my ankles and was made to be stretchy over my stomach. I had matching colored flats with inserts so my feet wouldn't hurt.
It was about 1:30 pm by the time we finished so we headed over to the venue. A lot of my family was already there, even a few of my friends like Kat, Alyssa and Chandni who had a chance to fly down.
Preston was sitting with Paige when we walked in. "Bacca!" He yelled causing a lot of my family to look. "Purston!" Jerome yelled back. They got up and hugged. "Such a bromace." I gave them a little clap.
