Chapter 49
Vanessa POV

Our honeymoon has been amazing. We have visited many tourist attractions and the ocean water is so clear I could see my feet though it.

We have two more days left before we go home. Today we are going to go sky jumping. Jerome squeezed my hand and I turned toward him. "Are you okay my love?"

I smiled. "Yes.. Just extremely nervous." I answered. "Are you sure you want to go through with this Nessa?"

"Babe I promise I'm okay. I have dreamed of doing this since I was in high school." I assured Jerome. I just had a feeling in my stomach that wouldn't go away.

"Okay we have to go through instructions for safety reasons." A man stood in front of us. He was taller than jerome and he looked rude.

"Okay do you want to go solo or as a couple?" He asked. I looked at Jerome. "As a couple." He said. "Okay well listen to these instructions. If not.. Well let's not think about that." He said with a little laugh.

The feeling in my stomach worsened. "This is going to be your parachute. This is the string you pull to eject the parachute." He showed us a white cord with a hoop at the end of it.

"You both will need to wear a bodysuit, goggles and a helmet." I nodded.

"We will be going up 13,000 feet so after about 60 seconds you need to pull the string to release the chute got it?"

"Yes sir." "Okay I need to ask a few questions and I also need both of you to sign a consent form."

"Have either of you ever had a heart attack?" "No."
"Are either of you prove to have anxiety or panic attacks?" "No."
"Miss, are you pregnant or think you may be pregnant?" "...no."

In all honesty, I haven't checked since before my wedding. Jerome seemed to notice my hesitation but continued answering questions while I tuned them out.

It is a possibility I am pregnant.. I'm to scared to tell Jerome that. We just got married.. I'll check when we go home to Flordia tomorrow.

Jerome squeezing my hand. I have him a nod. "Okay let's get suited up."

"So we just jump?" I ask the instructor. "Yup whenever your ready." I was currently tied to Jerome. He was behind me because he weighed more. I think the this is what the instructor meant by "going as a couple"

"Are you ready Nessa?" Jerome yelled. It was hard to hear in the helicopter. "Yeah!" I responded ignoring the feeling in my stomach. "Let's go!!" He yelled.

I felt myself going forward until I was at a complete free fall. The view looked amazing but I felt like vomiting. Jerome was screaming from excitement and I was just enjoying the view.

I heard beeping and suddenly I was lifted upwards. Jerome had pulled the string to the parachute. I felt like I was gliding on air.  We had a beautiful view of the island and the volcano on the other side of the town.

I closed my eyes and smiled just enjoying being alive. He got closer to the ground and we began our decent. It took about 20 more seconds to land. When we did I jumped out of the jumpsuit and threw my helmet and goggles down. We landed at the skyjumping center.

I instantly ran to a trash can that was nearby.  I threw up but I install felt Jerome by my side. "Are you alright love?" He asked. I gave him a shaky thumbs up. "It's nerves."i said.

He started rubbing circles on my back. I just hope to God it was "just nerves."

Jerome POV

We spent the rest of our day eating pizza, watching movies and enjoying each other's company. We were watching the amazing Spider-Man.

I looked down at Vanessa. She had her head on my chest and her arms around me. I smiled and kissed her head.

She looked up at me and smiled. I leaned in and kissed her. She pulled her self up and she sat on me her legs wrapping around my waist and I pulled her closer leaning my head on her shoulder. She started playing with my hair and I looked up where I was surprised when she kissed me and pulled herself closer.

Mitch POV.

"Please" I asked. "No Mitchell." She looked away from me. "Please?" "No." "Why not Lis?"

"Because Amara isn't even a year yet and she's already a lot to handle, we are still learning how to be parents." She explained.

"But.. You don't think she'll be happy with a brother or sister?" I ask. "Eventually but not right now. She wouldn't understand.. She will think that we don't have time for her anymore."

I look down defeated. "Look Mitch, give it three or four years, then we could have another one. Let's just enjoy Amara as a baby right now okay?" Lisa put her hand on my cheek making me look at her.

"We are young babe.. We have all the time in the world to make our family bigger okay?" I nodded. She leaned in and gave me a kiss, which I quickly returned. 

I had an idea but I have to wait for Lisa's mom to come down tomorrow, but I wished I could do it right now.

"Let's go get Amara. She needs a bathe." She said breaking away. "Maybe we could have a family bathe." I smirked.

She stood and was halfway out the door when she turned back to look at me. "Sure." She winked. She ran to Amara's room and I ran after her.
