Lawerence
"Who are you?" Paisley turned on her heels meeting the face of a stranger. Her arms crossed over her chest as she leaned to one side making her hip pop out. She wasn't scared, she's been kidnapped several times before and every time Jason had saved the day. More or less, she was annoyed at his timing. The fresh face walked around the table in the middle of the room and stopped in front of the girl where he raised his hand to stroke her cheek gently, "My name is Lawerence." Paisley had never heard of a Lawerence, she thought back to her recent conversations with Jason. Then suddenly it clicked, Lawerence was the man that was supposed to do business with Jason two days ago, but then ended up shooting up the place.
Paisley
I gasped and glared at the man, "I know exactly who you are. Sick bastard." Before I could react, the man pulled a gun from behind his back. I suppose it was tucked into the lining of his pants. A sick snicker escaped him as he pushed the gun towards my check. The point of it scratching the surface of my face. If not for this situation, I would kill him in a nanosecond. A miserable smile ran across Lawerence's face and stationed itself there. He lowered the point of the gun to my chest where his eyes only became more excited, "Paisley, you have something I want." He whispered to me. I rolled my eyes wondering what I could possibly have that he would want. "And what is that?" I played along without any real interest.
"Jason," He answered.
"Go to hell."
Lawerence cocked the gun, almost as if he was warning me or giving me one last chance. "Let's try this again," He breathed in my face, his breath reaked of weed. "Where is Jason," I rolled my eyes at the fact this man was going to even try Jason. Jason could take down this guy in a matter of seconds, with one hand. "What do I have to do with any of this?" My level of annoyance only increased with every second that gun pressed further into me. He snickered, "He obviously cares for you very much."
"Let. Her. Go." A deep voice boomed from the stair case. My head snapped towards it and I saw Jason standing there with a gun of his own pointed directly at the man only an inch from my face. God, if Jason was to shoot right now and miss... If I ever lived through it, I would kill him. However, I knew Jason had a sure shot and he wouldn't pull the triger until he was positive. "Jason," I let out in relief. Lawerence's facial expression only became darker as he narrowed his eyes at the figure in the stair way.
"Jason, how nice--" BOOM. The guy that once stood in front of me, now fell limp on top of my body. I stuggled under the weight until Jason came over and hurrled the dead body from my own. Soon after, reaching his hand down to me and helping me up. I stood and brushed myself off. "Jason, when are people going to give us a break?" I could feel the tears finally coming.
"I'm sorry, baby." He whispered before pulling me into a tight hug, "I'm so sorry."
Paisley stood in front of the stove as she worked to make Jason some breakfast. "Good morning," Haley announced as she saultered through the door, obviously exhausted. Paisley giggled at her friend's apperance, "Well good morning sleeping beauty. Long night?" Haley only scowled in returned then soon slid her body onto the bar stool behind the counter. The much more refreshed girl placed a plate of pancakes in front of the much deadlier one, "You're a saint." The girl cooed as she dug in. Paisley dryly giggled while grabbing hers and Jason's plates and walking out of the room, "Tell me something I don't know."
She tried to set the tray of food as quietly on the dresser as she could, but even the slightest sound woke Jason. He imediately shot from the bed and was at her side, "Are you okay?" He studied her over, taking a few moments to finally become his relaxed self. Paisley smiled before nodding. It was obvious he was still alarmed after the break in last night. "I made you some breakfast," She cheered happily then brought the two plates towards the bed where Jason sat across from her. "You didn't have to, baby," He smiled while taking a bite of the cheese eggs before him. Paisley nodded then tore a piece of bacon before speaking, "I know, but I wanted to."
"Well thank you," He leaned over to press his lips to hers then went back to his previous sitting position and began shoveling in the food she had prepared. She looked him over before finally beginning conversation, "Hey Jase?" He hummed in response.
"How did you know?"
"What?"
"How did you notice I was gone?" She restated the question more clearly.
The boy shrugged, "I told you, I'm a light sleeper. I felt you get up."
"I'm never gonna get away with anything with you, am I?"
"Nope," He smiled cheekily before taking a final bite of the pancakes and moisting his lips by running his tongue over the dry areas, "Thanks for breakfast, it was amazing." Paisley couldn't help but shrug and let a smirk come over her, "Yeah, I know, I'm pretty great."
