Cold Feet

Paisley stood at the end of her bed, in her own dorm, staring down at the breath taking wedding dress that piled on the sheets. Her long fingers traced over every seam, taking in the beauty. A quiet cough caught her attention, she turned to the door only praying it was not Jason. She didn't want him to see the dress, she heard some where it was supposedly 'bad luck'. A gust of relief came over her when she saw Sam's petite figure leaning against the door way, "Nervous?" She questioned Paisley. Paisley turned back to the dress, "More than ever." It only took a moment for Sam to be by her friend, also admiring the fabric. "Tomorrow's the big day," Sam's eye brows rose as a bashful smile took over her facial features. Paisley lit up at the thought and nodded her head before zipping back up the black bag that read 'Bridal.'

"I just hope it goes perfectly," She admitted once she reentered the room from the closet in which she had hung up the dress. "It's your's and Jason's wedding, I can't imagine it being anything but perfect." Sam admitted.

- The next day.

Paisley's hair was flowing down her back in rivers of black with flowers poking through select areas. Her complexion was flawless. The dress she wore clung to her body in all the right curves, including the now completely visible baby bump. The yard of the warehouse was decorated in flowers, lace curtains, white chairs, and the ginormous alter that was located at the end of the peach colored walk way. Of course a gang couldn't do a church wedding, so they made do of what they had.

Laron snuck into the girl's room just as they finished getting ready. He had a sneaky smile plastered all over his face, "May I speak with the bride?" He requested and earned a questioning look from everyone in the room. Kami placed the last of the flowers in Paisley's hair and everyone turned to leave the room besides Laron and the bride. Paisley's face lit up as she pranced over to the man and fixed his tie, "You look amazing, Lar," She complimented. He beamed back, "I could say the same, little one. How are you?" Paisley chewed on her bottom lip for almost a full minute before responding, "Nervous," She spike truthfully. Laron nodded and pulled his best friend into a comforting hug, "Well I couldn't be more happy for you."

Just then, the door busted opened and both Beau and Haley appeared frazzled. "Oh no, what's wrong?" Paisley immediately freaked out just like any bride would. "The priest is caught in traffic, he won't make it in time." Paisley could feel the tears forming in the back of her eyes and she slapped her hand to her forehead, "I knew something was going to go wrong!" She mentally cursed out everything in the room as a tear began to descend her cheek. Laron's hands shot up as he attempted to calm the girl, "Alright, don't freak out. We'll deal with this." The bride shot him a glare and threw her hands up wailing them around, "How?!"

"I'm certified," Beau spoke quietly. Everyone in the room turned to him with wide eyes. "What did you say?" Paisley took a step towards him. "I'm certified by law to marry you and Jason," Beau repeated clearly. Laron's eye brows furrowed, "How?" Beau shrugged and chuckled to himself, "You can get certified online." Haley turned to her boyfriend with a surprised expression, "Is that even legal?"

"Apparently."

"Will you do it then?" Paisley asked, still panicked.

Beau looked nervous, but at the same time, did want to let Paisley down so he nodded hesitantly, "Of course."

"Ok, just remember, Jason and I are saying our own vows." She ran up and wrapped her arms around her friend who just saved her on her big day, "Thank you so much." After a few minutes of discussing other wedding finishing touches, everyone fled from the room and left Paisley and Serena. The girl in the peach dress approached her best friend with a smile, "See? I told you it would all work out." Paisley had a facial expression that radiated the fact she was completely flustered, "I need to see him." She whispered. Serena's eyes went wide, "Pais, you can't. He can't see the dress." Paisley thought for a moment, "What if there was a way for me to talk to him without us seeing each other?" Her maid of honor was still confused so Paisley told her the plan.

Both Paisley and Jason were blind folded and led to the front of the church. Jason stood on one side of a brick column while Paisley stood on the other that way they couldn't see each other. "Jase?" Paisley whispered and reached around the brick wall in search for Jason's hand. Soon, her hand was grasped and a husky voice replied, "I'm right here, baby." Satisfaction relieved her from her stress as she smiled to herself, "Are you nervous?" He took responded moments later in a quiet voice, "I'm always nervous with you."

"Me too."

"We can do this," He reassured her by intertwining their fingers and running his thumb over the web of her hands. She beamed, "I can't wait to see you."

"I can't wait to hold you."

"Jason, we gotta get you to the alter, man," Dalton's voice broke the conversation and before either of them had time to say anything else, Jason was drug in the opposite direction by his groom's men. Kami came to get Paisley, "Feel better?" She smiled to her friend on the way back to the back of the warehouse. Paisley nodded, "I'm just ready to finally be with him."
