Pregnant?
"Paisley James," The doctor, Dr. Felix at EastsideGang's personal doctor's office, waltzed her way back into the regularly small room where I still sat firmly on the examination chair. My eyes shot in her direction to see her not paying any attention, instead studying over the papers clasped down by the pink clip board. "Yes?" My voice squeaked in response and then her head rose as she smiled to me with a warm gesture. "Did you happen to know, Ms. James, that you are a month pregnant?" Both mine and Haley's expressions completely became over whelmed with shock. I glared to her in hopes of some type of mental support, but still found nothing. I was completely dumbfounded and obviously extremely shocked. "I'm sorry, what was that?" My words came out with a tint of unexpected rudeness. The lady continued to her try her best and hold up her smile, "You're pregnant." She repeated as though it was the best news I would ever hear. Little did she know.
That's when it hit me. Oh my god, Jason. How would he react to this? I'm sure it wouldn't be good. What if he breaks up with me? With that thought, a lump found its way to my throat and stayed there for quite some time. I don't know what I would do if I ever lost that boy. He couldn't know, I wouldn't let him. Nobody would know. Nobody can know.
"No, I didn't," my words were honest and blank with no emotion. Haley was still doing her best at finding the right words, and clearly coming up just as caught off guard as I felt. Dr. Felix's smile turned quickly upside down at my reaction, I suppose she was expecting it to be a happy moment. She, of course, knew Jason, just as everyone in or that worked for the gang did. Therefore, I would have to let her in on my plot to keep this news as far from him as possible. "This news does not leave this room," I declared point blank in a threatening tone. Both the ladies faces became even more worried than before and the doctor's was confused so I explained, "Jason can't know about this. Of course he will in time, but not until the right time. Understood?"
"Ms. James, with all due respect--" The woman tried arguing only to be cut off by my more stern voice, "understood?" I repeated myself. Her eyes turned dark, "I can't lie to Jason McCann, he could have me killed." She was scared, I could tell, but I stood my ground. "No, he won't, I would never allow it. Plus, it's not lying, it's just not telling the entire truth." My words were clever and well thought out. Without any further argument, the woman rolled in her chair back behind the computer and typed something in. "Jason has all records to everyone's health files as well, he will know as soon as I put it into the computer that you are pregnant."
"Then don't put it in."
My eyes traveled back to Haley who sat uncomfortably in her seat she has been in for almost an hour now. I knew I would be getting an ear full on the way back to the warehouse, and I would deal with that problem when it hit. As of now, however, I had another problem to face. I was indeed pregnant. Not only that, but I had to keep it from the love of my life who had a record of figuring out everyone's secrets. This was going to be hard.
"Alright, you are all set. Nothing from here on out with be documented into the computer." She assured me as we made our way out of her office. The sunlight hit my fresh eyes causing me to squint a slight smile in her direction, at least the most genuine one I could attempt, "Thank you--" I trailed, obviously not grasping for her first name. "Danielle," She smirked back before closing the door. I nodded and walked with Haley back to the car.
The entire ride back to the warehouse she went on about how wrong my decision was to keep the pregnancy from Jason. I rolled my eyes and blocked out her voice with my selective hearing. I didn't want, nor need her two cents.
- No one's point of view
Paisley tracked into Jason's room later that day, ready to tell him about the doctors visit. Of course she was going to leave out the most crucial detail of all however. Of course she felt bad, but she was scared. She didn't want to see his reaction if it were to be bad so she decided against telling him all together. She didn't think about the consequences that would later bite her in the ass for her actions, right now all she cared about was her fiancé. "Hi," He smiled to her as she strutted from his closet wearing nothing over his skin besides sweat pants that hung dangerously low on his hips. Almost instantly, her hormones kicked in. She pounced to him, making him stumble over and fall into the bad with her landing on top of his perfect build. A low chuckle came from within the man as he smirked up to the girl he loved so much, "Someone's horny." He taunted blatantly. Paisley scowled back before pushing her nose into the creasing of his neck and began leaving a trail of wet kisses down his hard chest. Jason moistened his lips by trailing his tongue over them effortlessly, "You okay, baby?" He breathed out. She could only nod as she gripped the hem of the sweats, tugging on them as if she was a little kid again. And she was begging for his approval and it was finally granted.
