He's my life line☠
The next day I woke up to a strange text from a blocked number.
"They can't protect you forever. You and your brother can only stay watched so long." My fresh eyes locked over the message and I knew exactly who it was from. I figured it was just some type of scare from the other gang, nothing to worry about, so I ignored it and silently confirmed that I wan't going to tell Jason about it. He would just get worked up over nothing. I threw my legs over the side of my bed, "I wonder what Branson is doing today," I whispered to myself as I began to get ready.
"Jaaason," I moaned as quietly as possible as he left a trail of wet kisses down to the base of my neck, his hand slowly inching up my upper thigh. A sick smirk plastered all over his face. My hands that were placed against his rock hard chest soon pushed him off with all my force and even then, it barely got the job done. "I'm not ready," I spoke honestly looking down. Jason ran his hand over his face expressing frustration but it soon disappeared as his eyes locked back to mine, "It's okay."
"I'm gonna go see what Branson is doing today," I got off his bed and began straightening out my outfit.
He chuckled and folded his hands behind his head, laying back into the bed, "You do that."
Once I finished primping my hair in his mirror, I glided back to the bed to plant a soft kiss on his cheek, "Bye."
"Bye babe."
As I walked out of his room and down the hall my phone vibrated in my back pocket signaling I got a text, "Good choice." The message read, again from an unknown number. Probably just some idiot jocks playing a joke from school. I rolled my eyes as I reached up to knock on my little brother's door. Soon, the nanny came into view with a smile covering her face, "Paisley," She spoke sweetly.
At the sound of my name, Branson soon ran over and attached himself to my legs, almost causing them to buckle. I laughed quietly as I looked down at the little monster who was smiling back up to me, "Hi sissy." I couldn't help but reached down and pull him up to my hip where I covered his face in delicate kisses. He giggled loudly while attempting to grab my face in his minor hands and push them away, but it was no use. "Hey Brans," I finished off the kisses with one to the nose. His eyes sparkled in the light, looking like a little angel.
My phone vibrated again this time reading a new message, "What a cute little boy, wouldn't want to see him get hurt, would we?" I gulped as my eyes replayed the message again and again. Branson was my life line, anyone knows I would do anything for him. I shook it off and turned back to my angel as he was still studying me over, "Wanna go get some icecream?" I asked already mentally knowing it shouldn't have even been a question.
The entire way to the ice cream parlor, I felt as if my car was being followed. I watched my rear view mirror constantly but brushed it off as if I was making myself believe in something that wasn't there. During one of my frequent checks in the mirror I failed to realize a black tinted SUV running their red light and coming straight for my side of the car. Just in time I luckily swerved out of the way but not without consequence. While swerving, I lost control of the car and before I knew it, went straight into a ditch.
Pain from my left leg rose quickly as I gasped for air and turned back in my seat to make sure Branson was okay, but Branson wasn't there. My eyes searched the perimeter of the accident quickly only to the black SUV pulled up right next to my car and a rather large man carrying my bawling brother towards the vehicle. "Where do you think you are going?" I mustered up all the confidence in me to yell at the man who simply turned around and came back for me. I must admit, I couldn't put up much of a fight due to my leg's condition. Before I knew it, I was shoved into the back of the SUV and Branson looked at me with tears soaking up his face. Panic struck me but I couldn't show it, I had to be strong for Branson. The man got back into the passenger seat after putting child lock on all the doors of the car ensuring I wouldn't make an escape. "Drive," The stern voice commanded. The driver did as he was told and I watched out the back window as the scene of my accident disappeared.
As if instinct, I reached out my arms, allowing my little brother to climb into my lap, ignoring the pain it caused my leg. I wrapped my arms around his little body and held him securely as we drove on, whispering as many things as I could choke out, "It's gonna be okay." Was all I could say and I questioned if he could believe it, because well I am a horrible liar.
