Something My Body Didn't Agree With

"You know I love you, right?" He whispered for the millionth time as we crawled back into his bed, once again at the warehouse. As soon as we got here, we went straight to his room in order to avoid questions and comments from other people. We completely blocked the world out. It was just the two of us. "You've only told me a million times," I giggled and soon found myself being pushed further into the wave of pillows. I laughed even harder when I saw his funny expression right before he nuzzled his nose into the crook of my neck, "Say it back," He commanded. "Nu-uh," I refused jokingly. He chuckled and shook his head before pulling back to look in my eyes, "Forreal though, don't you dare ever fucking forget how much I love you. Do you understand me?" His voice was threatening which I only found to turn me on. I nodded quietly, "I love you too." That's when he took me in his arms, and made love to me like it was the first time.

Our bare bodies tangled themselves in the sheets as we laid silently and took in the comfort feeling of each other's presence. He began fiddling with my left hand and run his thumb especially over the ring finger. "Pais?" He murmured huskily. I was too busy admiring his sculpted body to even realize he was talking to me. "Paisley?" He began a little more worry coated his words. My head craned upward to watch the smirk play out on his face. Caught. "Stop staring," He winked, "It's creepy." His voice notified me he was only joking, but that didn't stop the crimson color from lighting up my cheeks. Eventually the warmth settled and he planted a soft kiss where it once lit up like a firework. "Will you put your ring back on?" He finally asked.

I nodded, honestly I had already forgotten about the ring. I guess in the heat of it all, the ring never really mattered, only his loved and the fact that he was mine and it would always be that way. Before I could react or ask any questions, the ring was pulled from his jeans on the floor next to his side of the bed. My eyes lit up at the sight of him sliding the rock back to it's safe place on my left hand. "Thank you," I said simply. Jason gazed at me obviously confused so I continued, "For not letting me leave, for fighting for me."

"I'll fight for what I love, any day."

"Hey Jase?"

"I really do love you."

"Oh, I know." He smirked even wider than before making me roll my eyes playfully and smack his chest.

The next morning I woke up sick to my stomach. I fucking hated being sick. My heavy eyes traveled to the digital clock on Jason's night stand, 5:56. I sighed knowing if I were to get up it would only wake up Jason considering he is probably the lightest sleeper in the entire world. None the less, I couldn't fight off the constant urge to up chuck whatever fluids swayed in my stomach. It felt like World War 3 in there. I still tried to contain myself, but that only worked for so long until I found myself literally sprinting to the bathroom door.

My knees hit the cold floor and bent over the side of the toilet bowl just in time before releasing the built up pressure in the most disturbing of ways. It took a nanosecond to feel the presence of another person behind me. The light switched on and just as swiftly my hair was being pulled back and held in the grasp of I'm assuming Jason's hand. I groaned before leaving back and wiping the edges of my mouth with the nearest towel I could find. Not long after scrunching my nose when I figured the towel to be dirty due to the damp and musty aroma. It must have been from the night before, but still that was gross. I scanned the object in disgust before throwing it back to the floor and once again vomiting the components of my stomach into the toilet. Finally once I was finished I found my feet, but not without the support and pull from Jason. Even though I'm nearly positive I reeked, he still pulled me into his chest and held me there securely. The feeling of having support comforted me and once again I had felt at ease. Almost instantly after being released I of course turned back to the sink in order to brush my teeth.

While scrubbing the bristles against the inside of my mouth, I felt Jason's strong arms snake around my waist and his chin rest against the very top of my head. I gazed into the mirror and saw that his eyes were closed, he was probably exhausted. I felt pretty bad for waking him so as soon as I finished the job, I lead him into the bedroom. He was being dragged to the bed, his body weight being so much more than mine, it took all the effort in the world and more. "You're so fat," I complained while finally falling back into the sheets with him. He chuckled lowly and pulled me close, "Yes, so fat." Jason only agreed because the stupidity in the comment. I nuzzled my way between his arm and body, taking in his sweet smell once more. "How are you feeling?" He suddenly broke the comfortable silence. My eyes were closed as I quietly purred at the feeling of him combing out the tangles of my hair with his fingers. He pressed his cheek to the side of my head and kissed my temple lightly. "Alright I guess, I guess I just ate something my body didn't agree with." He shrugged and petted me sleepily, "Wake me up again if you feel sick."

The clock shined through the darkness of the early morning, 6:37. I just wanted to go back to sleep.
