You're Lying

TWO WEEKS LATER

"Paisley James, please come to boss' office," The sweet voice of Jason's assistant filled the dorm room through the minor sized speaker box that hung on the north wall. Paisley furrowed her eye brows together in confusion as she took in the words from Katie. Jason never calls for Paisley over the intercom, he usually just finds her himself. Still though, she threw the covers from her tired body and glanced to the digital clock that shined three numbers, 7:42 am. "Jesus Jason, could you not have waited for a reasonable hour?" She cursed at him under her breath even though she was sure he wouldn't hear. After changing into a pale mixture of floral flowers on a bandeau, a yellow leather jacket that matched the yellow flowers perfectly, and a pair of white jean shorts, she left her room and made her way to Jason's office.

For some reason she was nervous. Of course she was always nervous when she was gonna see Jason, but this time it was a different nervous-- Anxious even. She wondered what on Earth he could want, and even more so, why couldn't it wait? She had a feeling in the pit of her stomach that sensed this wasn't going to be a pleasant meeting.

"What in the hell, Jase," she breathed out in frustration as the door flung opened to reveal him sitting back in his over sized black office chair. His feet were placed up on the desk and his hands clasped together to meet in his lap. "Goodmorning, Mrs. McCann," She rolled her eyes at the pet name he used all the time. Of course they weren't married yet, but he still liked to address her as if they were. "What do you want?" Paisley yawned in a rather annoyed tone as she fell into the red couch she had spent so much time on waiting to get Jason's full attention. He couldn't help but chuckle at the girl as he slid his feet from the desk and placed them on the floor. Paisley's eyes were closed, but that didn't stop her from listening to the wheels of the chair coming closer.

By the time her eyes popped back opened, Jason was now in front of her. His eyes were bright, hair perfect as always, tanned skin, and plump pale lips, "First off, kiss me." Paisley groaned as she covered her face. No way in hell did he wake her up to simply play his little sex appeal game. "That's an order," Jason smirked to the girl and soon found her lips pressed to his. The touch of each others skin collided just as intimate as always. Finally it was Jason who pulled from the embrace and left Paisley only wanting more. She loved the way his minty breath danced acrossed her face as he spoke with his forehead leaned to hers, "Now down to business." And just like that, he was rolling backwards away from the girl. She rolled her eyes, lately she had grown accustomed to his teasing behavior. "What could you possibly want with me?" Paisley's voice was playfully and drug on. "Everything," he replied while wiggling his eue brows to get a sexual point across.

"Oh really?" She gasped as her body slid from the couch and she shuffled over to the desk. Jason's eyes were drowning in amusement as he twirled his pen around in his left hand and watched the girl carefully. "Mhm," He grunted as she stepped around the desk and stood less than a foot from him. Just like that, Paisley was bent at the waist, leaning down to press a passionate kiss against his lips. Electricity circulated between the two as their lips danced in sync with each other. She came down to sit on his hips, straddling him. With both of their eyes closed, they took in the moment together solemnly using the touch, taste, feel, and hearing senses. Jason's tongue trailed over Paisley's gentle lips, moistening them while also applying for entrance. Granted, her lips parted slightly and allowed him in. The makeout became quickly heated.

"Jason?" A voice called from the opposite side of the door making Paisley jump slightly. Her eyes were wide as she glanced to Jason who only seemed to find Paisley's reaction humorous. She let her right hand collid with his chest playfully as she pushed herself from the man. After giving her a moment to straighten out her outfit, Jason replied to the voice in a light laugh, "Yes?"

Suddenly the door ripped opened to reveal his assistant, Katie, making her way through. She shot Paisley a innocent smile before wobbling to Jason's desk and handing over to him a stack of files, "This is the inventory checks you asked for." Jason took the papers from the girl and shuffled through, only glancing half interested, "Thanks Katie." His voice was raspy. With a nod, the girl turned and once again found herself making her eay out of Jason's office, only this time she closed the door on her way through.

Once he set the papers to the desk, Jase turned back to Paisley and smirked, "We should really probably go over the plans now." The girl strutted her way back to his desk with confused eyes, "What plans?"

"You want me to go on a mission?" I asked once he finished explaing the deed to me. He nodded nonchalantly. Worry came over me, I can't go on a mission. I'm pregnant. If he ever figured out I put mtself in danger while carrying his baby, oh boy. He still doesn't know about the little one yet though, and I wanted to keep it that way for as long as possible. I was only two months, so not really showing yet, and that had made it easier to keep this entire ordeal on the down low. It seemed everyone had figured out now, except Jason. I had had to come up with an excuse to pull myself from this mess. "I'm still not feeling too good, baby," I lied point blank to the man I loved. He studied me over with suspicious eyes, "Still? You've been sick for the longest time." Actually I haven't been sick at all, I thought to myself. "Yeah," I replied simply. He checked me over once more before nodding slowly, "Okay, you're off the mission, but did you go see Dr. Felix when I asked?" I nodded my head because at least that part of my stort was true. He furrowed his eye brows, "What did she say?"

"She doesn't know what's wrong," I attempted to keep my nervous voice under control and make it as least noticeable as possible. Jason's carmel eyes changed to coal as he stared at me, "You're lying."

Oh shit.
