Okay, I know what I did last night was wrong. I should have gone home with my fiance on the first night and spend the whole night together. I just couldn't leave Ke'Jerome all upset about me, this is his fault, though. He knew from the beginning we couldn't be together because the love that Kent has for me, but no, he continued and pushed me into his arms. Now, I can't get out of his arms ; it's so warm, loving, and feel so protected. I just love being under him and knowing he's not going to leave me for anything. Last night, him and I, we just kissed, talked, and cuddled in our clothes. I'm still shocked that we haven't had sex, he hasn't brought it up, pressured me into it... Nothing. We just talked about family, life, and our love for each other.
I moved my head from Ke'Jerome's chest towards the pillow, he woke up from my moving, I looked at him and we smiled. "Morning," he said in his deep raspy voice.
I giggled, "Morning, how was your sleep?" I asked.
"Perfect, with you," he responded as I rolled my eyes.
"I enjoyed talking to you last night," I rubbed my hand across his chest, he held my hand, put it to his lips and kissed it.
"Me too, I love when we just lay in bed and talked about anything."
"I never knew you were that kind of guy that would be scared of what you're doing for living,"
"Hell yeah baby girl! What drug dealer out there is not scared? My grandfather was, my father is... Until this day, they're still scared. Shit, I can't wait to have a son and hand him the throne," he explained, I shook my head and sat up of what he said.
"What's wrong?" he asked me, then sat up, I looked at him and his dreads. I pushed away his dreads and kissed his lips.
"Nothing. It just--" I sighed, looked away from him and put my head down.
"Nina," he called my name. I turned back to him, "Tell me. Remember we could talk about anything," he reminded me.
"It's about Kent. When I was dating him, he told me so many times of how much he was jealous and mad at you, your father and grandfather; of you guys never put him in the family throne. He told me once that he wanted to betray you guys, so he would always look up online, late at night to find some new drug to sell. I told him to leave it alone, but he was so angry and mad. Then, I don't know; one day, he told me that he went to see you one day, and told you about what he was going to do. You took the offer and helped him out; now look at him, he's happy, love you, your father and grandfather. I never saw him so happy since he dumped Lauren, our relationship together and his family helping him out. Ke'Jerome, I don't want to see Kent go back where he was... He was in real depression about this whole drug dealing process and betraying you guys," I explained to him. Ke'Jerome put his head down and sighed.
"Look, the reason why Kent was going through like that because he heard me telling our father that he has to get out of the drug dealing business. He wasn't fit for it, he didn't know what he was doing. When he heard that, he got mad, went crazy, and ballistic on all of us. The last words to all over us, 'I'm going to get all of you, watch me. Just watch.' I was scared when he told us that, I really believed that he would go out and betray us. But no, he came to my office and broke down in front of me. He apologized, he just wanted to be rich and powerful like us, that's when I helped him out by giving away some of my clients to him. So now, he's rich and powerful like me," he then explained and I beamed at him.
"Wow, you are an amazing big brother, are you?"
"Yeah, but a horrible one for falling in love with his fiancee," he responded and I stood quietly.
"Yup."
"I'm not losing you, though. I worked too hard to be in this part of the situation right now and there's no way Ke'Jerome III Knight is giving up on Nina Jewel Harris," he stated and I sighed. "You heard that Nina?" He came closer to me, bit my cheek and kissed it.
"Okay, okay. I heard you," he then kissed my neck, I jumped a little and he continued. "I said, I heard you Ke'Jerome, now stop," I begged him.
"Aight good, now what you wanna do today?"
"I don't know. Kent is at work, and I'm here with you."
"You're not going back to work. I told you, I'm going to give you the money."
"Can you give it to me now? I wanna see my mom and Jethro and how they're doing," I told him.
"Aight, we'll go to the bank. Today, the whole day we are hanging out. Ignore your girls and anyone else aight?" Ke'Jerome got out the bed and went to his mirror.
"What about Kent? If he calls--"
"If he calls? Then, tell him that you're working tonight and sleeping over at Avya's."
"You think he'll believe that?"
"Haha. Don't you know Kent? He would fall for anything," I then got out the bed, walked over to him, and checked him looking at his dreads. "I might need to retwist my dreads again, from you pulling them too much," he poked my forehead and I chuckled.
"Sorry, you're just soo damn goood!" I hugged him, he laughed and kissed my lips.
"Okay, we'll go to the salon."
"Let's go to Lee's cousin Jessica salon. She's really a good hair stylist and knows how to fix your dreads,"
"Should I make them short or longer?" He asked me.
"Eh, I don't know. She'll figure that for you, I'm going to take a shower," I yawned and walked to the bathroom.
He slapped my ass, "You want me to join you?" he smirked and winked.
"No, I'm fine. Just make some good ass breakfast," I demanded and he nodded his head.
I walked into the bathroom, closed the door, and then noticed something on the sink. I picked it up, read it and it was pills. The hell? Ke'Jerome's taking pills? For what? Is he depressed? About me? That's weird, why be depressed about me? One, that's stupid because you can't be sad all the damn time. Two, why he would be depressed? I'm still seeing him, though I'm still not with him. I don't know what to think anymore. I opened the pills, picked up the toilet seat and dumped the pills in the toilet and then flushed the pills down. I better not see any more of these in his cabinet again.
