She smiled at Emily and nodded.

"I know, you, JJ, and Penny all have my back"

"Yeah, speaking of backs, there's this really cute backless dress that I seen and it reminded me so much of you Karyn, you should totally buy it"

She laughed and allowed Penelope to pull her along, all the while shielding them from the rain.

"It's so....aesthetic"

"That's why I thought of you"

"I love it, how much?"

"Uh, it's best to not look at the tag"

"Pen, you know I don't have that kind of money"

"I know, I know, but you need to treat yourself every now and then"

She laughed and shook her head.

"When I get the money"

They had shopped until they dropped, snuggling up in some warm clothes and watching chick flicks.

"Ooh, a sex scene"

JJ wiggled her eyebrows as she snacked on her m&ms.

Penelope joked and covered Karyn's eyes.

"I remember when I used to stare directly at my parents while these scenes came on. I was 10, and it was movie night, there was a sex scene, and I just sat there staring at my mother, almost as if to say 'I'm not looking, I swear' but she never believed me"

"That's a little weird Ryn"

"Yeah, but it was 17 years ago"

Penelope moved back to her seat.

"You're older than Spence"

"Speaking of boy wonder, have you and him, y'know, done the deed?"

She bit her lip at the question, truth is, they haven't but they've been very close and something always stopped them.

"Uh, no"

There was silence and it made her a little nervous.

"But it's not because of what you think, we just, have better things on our mind"

"That sounds like Spence, he doesn't seem like the type to get mad over sex"

Karyn poured her chocolate dipped pretzels into her popcorn, nodding.

"Okay, let's talk about something else, those steamy memories?"

Emily nodded in agreement to Penelope's subject change, they both ate some popcorn.
