"The pizza was invented in Naples during the 18th century. Originally, it was just a dry, flat bread and was considered food for poor people. During a tour of her country in 1889, Queen Margherita of Italy tried some of the flat bread. She liked it so much that she ordered her chef to prepare various types of pizza for her. He decided to make a pizza containing the three colours of the Italian flag with mozzarella cheese, white, tomato, red, and basil, green.  He then named the pizza in her honour, Pizza Margherita. It became one of her favourite foods"

"Where did you read that?"

She giggled at Penelope and Derek before biting her pizza.

"Well, my lovelies, a little chocolate birdie told me that your nine month anniversary was coming up soon, what are your plans?"

Derek chuckled and shook his head as Karyn and Spencer shared a look.

"We usually spend the night together, watching movies"

"You guys never party? Nine months is a big deal, you should celebrate"

"We do celebrate, our way"

"But you need to waste money on sparkling wines and cheesy foods that are served in too small of a portion that even a mouse would be hungry after eating it"

"We buy a bottle of wine and we order some take out, and we sit down and watch movies"

"That's it? You don't even have sexy time?"

Karyn glanced at Spencer, memories of the previous monthly anniversary replaying in her mind. His fingers knew exactly what she wanted, that's for sure.

"Yeah we do, but it's not the main focus"

"Well, if you change your mind, just call us because we'll gladly take you out for some drinks and expensive, poorly rationed food"

"Noted"

"For a first year anniversary, people used to give paper as a gift here in the US, but in the UK, they gave cotton first"

"Well, for our one year, I hope you get me something more than just paper and cotton"

She joked and he smiled.

"Well, I had a great time, we should do this more often"

She hugged them both before her and Spencer shut their apartment door. She almost instantly took her shoes off and let her hair down, unbuttoning the top buttons on the shirt.

"A week and a half left"

She smiled and pecked Spencer's lips.

"What do you have planned for our anniversary?"

"Well, I was thinking of doing what we always do, unless you want to change it up?"

"No, I love our anniversaries"

She pecked his lips once more before gripping his tie and pulling him to the loveseat. She sat him down, placing herself on his lap, hiking her skirt up a little. She smiled innocently and removed his sweater vest.

"Talk dirty to me"

She winked and he grew flustered.

"U-uh, your nose can remember 50,000 different smells"

She untied his tie, grinning.

"Tell me more"

He licked his lips.

She trailed kisses along his jaw line, humming softly, as if to say for him to continue.

"That's so cute"

He smiled and she pulled him in for a steamy kiss.

"Kissing is a form of exercise"

She grinned, leaving lingering kisses on his lips before tangling her hands in his hair.

"Hm, lets burn some calories"
