"Happy nine months"

She smiled and pecked his cheek, waving to him as she went off to enter the cafe. She was stopped by a tug on her wrist, bringing her back to him.

"Happy 23,652,025.9 seconds"

He left a lingering kiss on her lips before they went off. She sighed happily and went to work.

"Um, yeah, I'd like a coffee, two creams and lots of sugar"

An older male, around 46, said and she nodded, smiling.

"Yeah sure"

She didn't even look up until she handed him his coffee, he had taken a seat at the counter. He had greying hair and one green eye, one brown. He wore a solid grey shirt with blue jeans.

"Have we met before?"

"Honey, you're old enough to be my daughter, I don't think so"

"Heh, yeah, sorry"

But she couldn't seem to shake the feeling of familiarity.

She collected her stuff, walking out of the cafe, hauling a cab. She had got off earlier than expected, she was planning a surprise lunch visit for Spencer.

"Karyn, Spencer didn't say you were coming"

"He doesn't know, it's a surprise"

JJ smiled, walking with her.

"He should be at his desk, happy anniversary by the way"

"Thanks J"

She waved and made her way to the bullpen, seeing him slouched over his desk. She smirked and walked up to him, covering his eyes.

"I don't have time for games right now Morgan, I seriously have got to get these files done"

He let go of his pencil, licking his lips. She felt his eyelashes flutter against her palm.

"Wait, you're not Derek"

He swiveled his chair around, surprising her. She ended up in his lap, hands on her skirt to keep from flashing anyone.

"I didn't think you could make it"

She was flustered, her face a light shade of pink.

"I got off early, I wanted to surprise you"

"You look like the surprised one"

She rolled her eyes and quickly stood up as she seen Derek approaching.

"L.K, this is a surprise. Pretty boy, you forgot to tell us she was coming in today"

"I didn't know"

She smiled and almost squeaked when she felt a hand on her lower thigh. Derek raised an eyebrow and she just side stepped away from Spencer.

"So, how's your day been?"

Derek took a seat at his desk, fixing some files before sighing.

"Uneventful, are you and Reid going for lunch? If so, would you mind picking up something for me? I've got too many files to be taking off for this"

"Sure thing, pizza okay?"

"Yeah"

Spencer stood up, grabbing his brown cardigan, slipping it on before pecking Karyn's lips.

"Let's go"

She smiled at him, pecking his lips softly before they walked out of the building.

"So, how was work?"

"It was okay, there was this guy there who reminded me of my dad, it was weird"

"Yeah? You haven't talked to your dad in years, is there a possibility that it is him?"

"He didn't even recognize me"

"Let's see, the last time you seen him was when you were 18, right?"

She nodded.

"And what did you look like?"

"Um, I believe I was going through my grunge faze then, teal hair, chokers, denim, black, things like that"

"And now, you've got faded red hair, you wear button ups and high-waisted skirts, tank tops even, and high knee socks, nothing like those years, correct?"

"But, a father knows, right? He's just gotta know"

"Maybe I'm wrong"

"Come on, you're never wrong"

"I am wrong, sometimes"

"Okay"

They ate their lunch, just talking randomly and laughing. They grabbed a a few slices for Derek before leaving and going back to the Bureau.

"Thanks L.K, Pretty Boy"

She smiled and nodded, turning back to Spencer who was looking at her legs, licking his lips.

"Hey, uh, I want to show you something. I was reading this old case file and it kind of reminded me of you, the killer would leave pressed flowers on his victims bodies, they were violet anemones, but get this, the murders took place during Winter"

She raised an eyebrow.

"How? Anemones only bloom during mid-Spring and mid-Fall"

"I'll show you"

He led her down to the old record room, making sure their were no other people around, he shut the door, locking it. He quickly attached his lips to her's, she immediately returned the kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck. His hands were rubbing the smooth skin on her thighs, lifting her leg to his waist as he pushed her into the wall.

"Greenhouse"

He smiled, bringing her bottom lip between his teeth, nibbling gently.

"Correct, do you want a reward for getting the answer?"

"Please"

She nodded her head. He grinned and reattached their lips, his fingers tracing the small wetness pooling in her panties.

"Happy nine months"

"Hey, baby girl, how can someone grow a plant in the Winter that only blossoms during Mid-Spring and Mid-Fall?"

Penelope laughed and shook her head at Derek.

"I love you but sometimes you don't think, a greenhouse"

"Was there really a killer who left pressed violet anemone flowers on his victims bodies?"

"I can check for you"

"No, it's fine. Thanks baby girl"

"Hey Garcia, can you make another file on that case for me? I left my file in the old storage room and I can't get in, the door's locked and everyone I've talked to said they didn't even know people still went in there"

Derek laughed, shaking his head.

"That's my boy"

"What was that Morgan?"

"I think Reid's the only one who has a key to that room, but he's a little busy showing some old case file to Karyn, don't want to bother them"

"Oh?"

Emily tilted her head to the side before looking at Penelope.

"Oh"

They chuckled and shook their heads.

"I guess it's a happy anniversary"

"I told her I was lost in this world, and she smiled, because she was too. We were all lost somehow, but we didn't care, we had, in the chaos, found each other"
