Callie POV
The next morning I searched for Brandon at school right away. I felt really bad about last night, I hoped he wasn't upset about it. I usually met him near the front entrance every morning, but he wasn't there. I searched the halls and finally saw him at his locker.
Callie- hey
Brandon- hey
Callie- I was looking for you, you wern't where we usually meet
Brandon- oh yeah sorry, I forgot
Callie- its okay
the bell rang
Callie- so I'll see you at lunch?
Brandon- I have to make up a test so..
Callie- okay.. so how about after school?
Brandon- yeah okay
Callie- okay, see yah
I gave him a kiss on the cheek and he half smiled then we parted ways
after school was over, I texted Brandon to see if he wanted to come over to my house. After texting and calling for awhile he didn't respond. I decided to just go over to his house and see what was going on. when I got there Marianna answered the door and told me Brandon was in his room. I headed upstairs and saw him sitting at his keyboard.
Callie- hey
he jumped
Brandon- hey, what are you doing here?
Callie- we were supposed to hang out after school, I called you but you didn't answer
Brandon- oh I'm so sorry, I forgot and my phone's still in my back pack I had it on vibrate for school
he then pulled the phone out of his backpack and sat in on the back of his keyboard
Callie- don't worry about it, so.. you want to play some music
Brandon- sure
Marianna- Brandon!
Brandon- what!
Marianna- mom needs you help downstairs
Brandon- be right back
I sat down, Brandon's phone went off
Callie- probably another one of the texts I sent him
I picked it up to just delete the messages I'd sent him in the past hour, I was taken off guard though. when I looked at the text it wasn't from me, it was from Talya.
the text message read:
so happy you called me, come over to my house tomorrow night
my heart sank
