Brandon POV
me and Jude clearly heard Callie from the door, Bill was here. Callie keep the door only a crack open so Bill couldn't see inside. She waved her hand behind her back to us, I looked around the apartment. it was in better shape than before but it was still kind of messy, me and Jude quickly rushed around the room hiding laundry under cushions, piling dirty dishes back in the cabinets to hide them. then when Callie could stall no longer she let him in.
Callie- have a seat
Bill- thank you, is your father home?
Callie- he should be home from work any minute
Bill- okay
Callie- so why are you here?
Bill- relax Callie.. I'm just here to do a routine check in, how are you guys doing in your new home?
Callie- good
Bill- Jude?
Jude- I like it here
Bill- good, Callie.. I heard you were in the hospital for a little while
Callie- yeah.. I just overdid it a little
Bill- really? doing what?
Callie- I.. I just um..
my dad came in
Jude- dad
Travis- hey whats going on?
Bill- just here to do my regular check in, see how the kids are doing
Travis- I thought you were coming next weekend?
Bill- I was.. but I had a conflict so I thought I would come early, hope thats okay?
Travis- it's fine, if I would have known you were coming I would have moved my schedule around so I could be here.
Callie- he just got here
Callie POV
Bill's meeting didn't last long, he talked with us a little more after my dad arrived and we showed him our rooms. he said he would file his report by the end of the week and let us know. I couldn't tell by his face if it would be good or bad. all I knew after he left was I was furious, I knew Stef and Lena had called him. he wasn't supposed to come till next weekend, there's no way he would have a surprise visit so early unless he was tipped off by someone.
Brandon- hey, are you okay?
Callie- no
Brandon- don't worry, you guys did great, you gave him no reason to think this place wasn't safe
Callie- well it might not be enough
Brandon- it will be fine
Callie- can you give me a ride?
Brandon- sure, where?
Callie- over to your house
