Chapter 46

Nica's POV

Tahimik akong pumasok sa loob ng kuwarto niya at naupo sa upuan katabi ng kama niya, I smiled so sweetly when he looked at me. He just woke up 7 hours ago, at ito ang unang pagkikita namin ngayong gising na siya. 

'You're safe now Jake.'

"How are you feeling hon?"- I asked and held his hand. 

"I'm good now that you're here. You're safe, it gave me a peace of mind."- He said smiling. Tumayo ako at naupo na sa kama niya, unti-unti akong lumapit and I kissed his forehead, the tip of his nose and his lips, I was about to stop when he deepened the kiss, I did not protest and enjoyed the moment. Later, we stopped.

"I miss you."- He uttered. I smiled and once again smacked his lips. Tska na ako tumayo at may kinuha sa bulsa ko, a small box. Iniharap ko ito sakanya and opened it, a ring.

He chuckled but I saw the sparkle in his eyes, like a woman with sparkling eyes the moment her man proposed to her. And it felt good seeing the spark in his eyes, it felt so happy. And now, ramdam ko ang pakiramdam ng mga lalaking nag-ppropose.

"A ring? My baby, ako dapat ang nagbibigay ng mga ganyang bagay sayo. Are you proposing to me now?"- He asked but I could still sense the happiness in his voice.

I smiled so deeply at inilabas ang sing-sing, tska ito isinuot sa daliri niya. "Nica ---"- He called out.

"Don't protest, I can see you're shy because I just give you a ring that is supposed to be your work but I don't care, I want something unique. At gusto ko, kapag gising mo, may ibigay ako sa iyong something."- I giggled, afterwards I showed him my ring, kaparehas ng kanya. 

"Don't remove it hmm?"- I asked.

"Yes my lady."- Saad niya at sinilip ang sing-sing, he frowned. "Well, who's LeFevrin?"- Tukoy niya sa naka-ukit sa sing-sing.

I smiled and looked at him right into his eyes. "The one who will protect."- I said, meaningfully and hugged him tight. I closed my eyes. "Thank you for staying. I love you so much Jake, so much."

He hugged me back. "Mahal na mahal din kita Nica. My Nica."

*After One Week*

I smiled and kissed Jake on his lips. "Done."- I uttered, tska ko inayos ang kit na ginamit ko para linisin ang sugat ni Jake, naka-gauze pa rin ito at hindi pa gaanong nag-h-heal. Tumayo na kami ni Jake at lumabas na ng kwarto tska nag-tungo sa baba para mag breakfast. Iginaya na ako ni Jake sa upuan kaharap ng ina niya. Nakatira na kami ngayon sa bahay nina Jake along with his family. His mom did not mind it actually, when Jake told his mom that I will also be living here. Pero alam kong ayaw niya talaga sa akin, but I don't care. 

"So, there will be a party this evening. I want you guys to look elegant."- Pambabasag ng ina niya sa katahimikan. Tumango-tango naman si Jake bilang pag-sang ayon dito. The breakfast went smoothly. Well noong unang breakfast ko rito ay pinulbos ako ng magaling na ina ni Jake but I didn't mind at all, ang mga patama niya sa akin ay walang-wala sa patama ng lolo at dakilang ina ko.

TINIGNAN ko ang sarili ko sa full length mirror, I am wearing a color red long gown dress with a slit na konting galaw ko lang ay makikitaan na ako but I didn't mind, I don't have an issue wearing this kind of dress. Kinuha ko ang purse ko tska na bumaba ng hagdan. And there my man waiting. Tinignan niya ako at kindatan.

"Gorgeous."- He uttered with a big smile on his face.

"Handsome."- I commented back, not because he commented but because he really is. Kahit nga basahan pa ang isuot niya, he's still handsome in my eyes. He gave me peck on my lips and after that, sabay na kaming sumakay sa kotse nila na siyang maghahatid sa amin sa hotel.
