RWBY (Salem: Dawn)

Team FAEL-

   Chapter 25 (Axi)-

I wandered into my next class where my team was already situated, waiting for me.

"Hey Axi!" I heard Layric greet me with one motion wave. He was staring off in the other direction of me so I had no idea how he knew I was even there.

"He's become brainwashed by the most dangerous enemy man has ever known," It was Leo from EPLN, "Woman!" I followed Layric's gaze and saw what he was talking about. He was staring at Linena.

"No, I'm simply observing," He said in a surprisingly normal, without stammering tone, he turned to look at us.

"He's already got to the stalking point! It may already be too late!" Leo whispered the last part, but loud, obviously on purpose.

"Shut up, Mop-head," Layric glared at him, but he didn't sound deathly harsh or anything, Leo just laughed in response. At this point we were a month into the school year so everyone had their fair chance to grow on each other.

"Today's first match is...Team FAEL vs...Team EPLN!" As usual, the professor instantly got down to business.

"Not us today, huh?" Scav said as he watched the teams go down to the lockers. We waited for only two minutes before they marched out onto the arena floor. They looked more tense than usual- they were tied for second, behind us. And whoever won this match, was going to be tied with us.

Team FAEL's members were armed to the teeth; much like all of the other teams, but something was different about them; mainly, Linena. She had armor like a-

"Valkyrie!" Irene exclaimed. Yes, that actually was what I was thinking of.

"Huh?" Someone from another team looked over at us.

"That's what I was thinking of when I first saw her...not angelic," She said like that explained everything. The guy just looked back at the arena like he already gave up on the conversation.

"Yeah, sure," He muttered. I looked at Linena and decided that I couldn't describe her better than that, even her armor was like a Valkyrie. It was red and gold, but there was no wings, only what I assumed were decals on the sides of her armor like they were folded in, stopping right under her chest piece. In my opinion, that was a really cool detail. She wore a long white cape in the back and had a cloth hanging from the front that was attached to her metal armor guarding her chest; which was red with a golden trim on the outsides like the rest of the armor set. The wing decals were also golden like they were metal, but they didn't gleam; as if they were natural. She was decked out with a full set; from a helmet to boots, which went up a little past her knees. She one handedly held a giant hammer that was blue and silver and seemed to glow a golden color. It was a square head, so it could be used by either side of it, and had small wings sprouting from the middle of the handle.

Ecru wore camo combat pants with a white tank top and black boots. He looked like he could stomp me to death if he really wanted to. He had on sunglasses, which helped pull off the commando look. If I saw him walking down the street I'd just completely avoid him. Especially with his weapon...a metal arm!

"Are you kidding me! Another fucking robot!" I held out my arms in disbelief. I don't think anyone from SALI pays attention to the battles because everyone's expressions resembled what one would look like if they just figured out a puzzle. It wasn't until Layric's and Linena's conversation that we ever paid attention.

His arm appeared to have plenty of armaments. I wouldn't be surprised if he was hiding a whole nuke on it.

Alyce was wearing something that looked like it belonged in a punk rock band, except not. It was textbook punk until you got down to the colors. Pink wasn't exactly what I was expecting to go with that outfit, yet here it was, right in my face. Her hair was all over the place like she rubbed a balloon to it beforehand, and It looked like she had spiked bracelets and boots; possibly some of her weapons. But what interested me the most was the black wire in her hands that resembled ear buds. The ear pieces she held away from her were black skulls. Well, my date was nothing but sunshine and rainbows! I sighed, looking down in shame. I heard Scav laughing like he knew exactly what I was thinking.
