I hear a ticking noise against my window, I close my computer and look down to the grass where my friend is standing with a few little stones in her hand.
"Come on! We have to go!" She whispers loudly. I nod and close my window again. I put on the clothes I chose for the party and add some make up.
I come down the stairs on the top of my toes, I left the backdoor open so it can't make a lot of noise. If my father sees me now I'm in trouble.
I triple to the kitchen very carefully, if I make a noise I can forget about the party. I open the backdoor, without making any noise.
I feel the guilt growing in my chest but I put it off of me. No time to feel guilty for my father. He hasn't the right of forbidding me to be young and even happy.
As soon as Alison sees me a small smile starts tugging at her lips.
"You look gorgeous." She whispers and throws her arms around me.
She leads me to a silver colored car standing a bit further. The car we have so much memories made in.
She opens the door quickly like we just roved a bank, she pushes me in and smashes the door. A few seconds later the door on the other side opens and Alison jumps in.
"Lucas, drive." She orders her older brother. The car starts and drives us away. I look back at the house that is half as big as Alison's and feel a weight growing on my chest. I don't like to lie to my father but sometimes I just have to. I mean Liam is waiting on me and I have to talk to that friend of Harry because Alison just made me. My dad is too strict and that isn't a plus at all.
"You don't regret it right?" Alison asks me. She's been talking the whole time to me but I didn't hear a word of it.
"No, I don't" I half lie. I feel bad for my father but on the other side it's exciting. I'm meeting new people and maybe I could make new friends. Maybe, just maybe, I could lose the name of nerd and loser. Maybe people think I'm cool after tonight. Liam and Zayn seem nice and Alison has her Harry.
She softly nods and looks back through her window.
"What if he sees I'm not home?"
"Then you tell him you're with me."
I softly nod, knowing that is no reason to my dad to leave the house when it's night without him knowing.
I hope he falls asleep in front of the television again with horrible snacks under his arm and doesn't wake up until noon.
"Here you go." Lucas says as he pulls into a lot. My mind starts racing as we get out the car in front of the building. My first party in ages.
Alison grabs my hand and drags me inside. My mind freezes and so does my body. It's only twelve and some people are already drunk. That's something I can't stand; people who get drunk and act like assholes. I promised myself not to touch alcohol until I die when my mother died.
"Come on." Alison encourages my frozen body. "I'll get us a drink."
Before I can interrupt her she already corrects herself. "Yes soda." She smiles before disappearing in the crowd.
I'm not used to this loud music, maybe Liam is there. I turn around and a guy bumps into me, he spills his drink all over me as a small gasp leaves both of our mouths. "I'm so sorry." He says and his hand runs through his brown hair. "Come here." He says and grabs my arm before dragging me out of the crowded space. I'm still frozen, maybe even more now his bright blue eyes stare into mine.
"I am absolutely sorry, I didn't see you there." He apologizes again.
"It's okay." Someone whispers, it takes me a moment to realize it was my raspy voice speaking. He grabs some toilet paper and starts wiping my shirt.
"I can do it myself." I say and take the paper from him. I turn to the mirror and fix my make up and try to dry my shirt a bit. He's standing behind me and when I look back up into the mirror our stares meet each other.
"I'm Louis." He says to the mirror.
"I'm Maddy."
"I should go back, my friend will be worried." I say.
Louis nods and his hand strikes his hair to put it in the most perfect way.
As I catch myself staring at him again I start realizing how handsome he actually is.
The loud music comes closer and as quick as he showed up Louis disappeared again. I turn around a few times but there's no track of him
I decide to go to the place I last saw Alison, maybe she's still there.
On my way there I bump into a few drunk dancers. One of them even touched my behind but ignoring is obviously the best solution.
"Madison?" A familiar voice calls my name. A warm hand rests on my shoulder. I turn around to find a smiling Liam in front of me.
"Zayn got us a drink, you want one?" He asks politely.
"No thanks I don't drink." The nerves are clear in my still raspy voice.
He nods, no judgment to be read in his face at all.
"You know where Alison is?" I ask him, loud enough so he can hear me.
"Yea she's with Harry, over there." He points and I immediately recognize her blond hair.
"We'll talk later right?" He asks and I smile. "Sure."
I make my way through all the already drunk people. This place is too small, or there are just too many people in here.
"Maddy! There you are!" Alison let's out a breath. "Where were you?"
Instead of answering I turn to Harry and his friend. Kidding right?
"So Louis this my friend.." Louis doesn't let her finish her sentence.
"Maddy." He interrupts Alison without getting his eyes off of me.
"You guys know each other?" Harry asks his friend. Louis just ignores him and keeps staring at me. His blue eyes burning on my bare skin. I don't know if I should feel uncomfortable but I do.
"You have something to explain when we get home." Alison speaks into my ear. I don't look at her, it feels like my eyes can only focus on him.
Here you are, a somewhat longer chapter than the first ones. I hope you still like the story!
