*Maddy's POV*
I step from under the shower, the cold making goosebumps appear on my skin. Finally, the day I've been waiting on for so long. I swing a towel around my body and one around my hair. It's half past five in the morning, I had to wake up early so I won't be late on my very first day.
I put on the clothes I chose weeks ago. A skinny jeans with a light pink cotton blouse with sleeves that cover the upper half of my arm. I check my suitcase for the last time and after I brushed my teeth I put my toothbrush in it. I comb my hair and put on some light make up.
I go downstairs to set the table for a small breakfast. I feel sort of bad that my father will be here on his own, eating alone. I hope he finds a date soon, that would probably be kind of awkward in the beginning but it would warm my heart to see my father in love again. My mother would want it.
My father walks in the kitchen, still wearing his striped pajamas. He wipes his eyes as he sits down in front of me.
"Why aren't you clothed?" I ask.
"Maddy it isn't even six yet and we have to be there at eight."
"I know, I just don't want to be late."
"You are never late, not even on time you're always too early." He says and I smile because I know it's true."Nervous?" He asks.
"Can't you say?" I ask and he smiles. He takes a sip from his cup of coffee and starts reading the news paper.I stand up from my seat, I'm checking my suitcase again. I hurry up the stairs and when I open the door op my bedroom I see my phone charger. I knew I'd forgot something. I quickly put it into my grey backpack and check my phone. I have one new message. When I see Louis' name on the screen a smile grows on my face by the memory of last night. Nothing happened, I was just enjoying the warmth of his naked chest. He was so gentle and loving. I catch myself on missing him around, I want him next to me, always.
'Probably you're already asleep but I wanted to tell you I really enjoyed your presence, and of course the small puffing ;) x but I also wanted to say that I'm sorry for what happened with Liam. I don't know why he came to my place. Well good luck tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you :) x and don't hesitate to call or visit me!'
I smile at the screen, my teeth biting my bottom lip. I put my phone away and grab my bag and suitcase. This is it. My last day here. From now on I'll be living in my own dorm with Alison. All my dreams will be coming true. I close the door of my childhood bedroom behind me. Downstairs my dad is waiting for me, car keys in his hands. I can read the nerves on his brows.
"Let's go." He says and takes my suitcase from me. As he puts it in the trunk I get in the car and sit down on the drivers seat. I wonder who'll be there from the people I know. Will Liam and Niall and Zayn be there too? Today I'll see Caleb again, it's been months ago since I last saw him. And most of all I'm hoping on seeing Louis there. What will we do if he's going to a different school? What will happen with us?
*Louis' POV*
I grab my suitcase from the street and swing it into the trunk, Harry follows my actions.
This is actually the first time I think about me and Maddy, how will I be seeing her if she isn't going to my school? A long distance 'relationship' won't work for us. At least it wouldn't work for me. It has to be, how could I be so stupid? Why didn't I ask her?Harry gets in the car. "You're driving." He says and closes his door. I roll my eyes before getting in the car as well.
It's about an hour driving to college but now it seems like five. Harry is talking the whole time but I haven't understood one word of it. I'm not in the mood to listen to his pointless dramas. I never am.
The only thing I can think about is Maddy and what I'll be doing if I don't see her brown curls in the crowd. What if I don't see that stupid smile of hers because school finally started in the crowd with all the other annoyed faces.
