*Maddy's POV*

I walk in the classroom with a lot of thoughts clouding my head. About Louis, Liam and even Calum.

A few girls are sitting in the back of the classroom and two guys in the middle. I decide to sit down in front where nobody is sitting in the area. I'm a bit early but it makes me nervous that I wasn't the first one to arrive.

The room slowly gets filled. Not a single face is familiar to me. My muscles relax when the teacher starts speaking to everyone and still nobody is sitting next to me. I like being alone when I'm not completely alone.

"Hello class, I'm professor Howard. I'm your history teacher for this year." The man says and writes his name down on the blackboard in a messy handwriting.

"We'll start with a small exercise to test your knowledge about the american history." The brown haired man speaks. A few kids start complaining and puffing what makes me smile.

"I'm sorry, I'm late." I hear someone say. Calum walks in the classroom without knocking and is breathing heavily. "I was on the wrong side of the campus." He says, his cheeks lightly blushing of running. I have to fight a laugh when girls in the back starts giggling and Calum gives them a wink.

"It's okay, you can sit here in front." Professor Howard says.

That's when he sees me. Dimples appear with a wide smile on his face. His hand runs through his dark hair before sitting down next to me.

Professor Howard starts giving all of us a blank paper. "Write down everything you know about the American history." He says. "You can work with your neighbor."

"Hi." I smile.

"Hey." He smiles back and beings his chair closer to mine.

"Coincidence or not?" He asks.

"I guess not." I answer. Good to see him and having him in my class. We write some stuff down on the paper and hand it in.

"I'm going to check these, I'll see you back in two days." Professor Howard says and with that everyone stands up and walks out of the room.

My phone starts buzzing and I grab it out of my pocket. I'm lightly disappointed when Louis' name isn't on the screen.

"Caleb." I answer it as cheerful as I can.

"Maddy, can you come to my dorm after class? We can have lunch together?" He asks.

"Great." I answer. Haven't heard of Louis since this morning anyway.

"Good, you know where to find me right?"

"Yup."

"Okay see you." He says and I hang up. Calum starts walking next to me down the hallway.

"So you have plans this noon I heard?"

"Yeah, a friend asked me to come to his dorm and go for lunch."

"Cool." He says. "My roommate was going to ask a girl to our room too so I guess I'll be hanging around then." He answers. "What class do you have now?" Calum asks me.

"English." I say him while checking my schedule.

"I have French now, see you right? Don't forget to text me." He says pointing to my arm he wrote his number on.

"I won't." I answer and head towards the English classroom. Again I sit down on the first row where nobody is sitting.

*Louis' POV*

My conversation with Madison this morning was everything except of good. I need to make it up to her or this can be the end of everything. I'm ruining it for myself.
