*Maddy's POV*

I'm slowly darting to sleep when I hear the door of my dorm opening and closing again. I hear his quick footsteps coming closer to me. He kneels down in front of my face next to the bed. I pretend I'm asleep when he strikes my hair.

"I'm so sorry." He whispers and stands up again before walking towards Alison's bed and crawling under the white sheets after changing into his boxers. I feel the tears breaking through when he turns his back towards me and slowly falls asleep.

....

"Fuck." Louis' raspy morning voice wakes me. His phone is loudly buzzing and ringing and his hand is desperately trying to find it. He brings the object to his ear and starts mumbling.

"Not now.. You're sick.. Don't call me again on this phone.. We had a deal.." He puts his phone away and slowly stands up from the bed. He puts his jeans on and pulls his shirt over his head. I slowly lift my head off of the way to soft pillow and throw a glance at the clock. It's six already.

"You're awake." Louis states and I ignore him. I'm still confused about what happened last night and why he'd had to leave so sudden. I put on my jeans and a white shirt, I'm not feeling like dressing up today even though it's my first day of school today. They can be happy that I'll brush my teeth and comb my hair today.

"Listen, Maddy about last night.."

"I don't want to hear it." I interrupt him and put on my black converses. I stand up from my bed and head towards the small bathroom where I start combing my hair.

"Look I want to explain.."

"And I said I don't want to hear it." I spit. He doesn't have to think he can leave when he wants, not like that. I'm not his toy and he should know I'm angry about his weird behavior. I hate all that sneaky and mysterious side of him.

"Maddy.." His voice is almost as pleading as his blue eyes. The eyes I got completely lost in.

"Louis.." I say with an annoyed voice, still not looking at him. I brush my teeth and grab my bag with books I'll need today in class.

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"Don't see why I have to tell you." I spit. "Not that we owe each other an explanation right?"

I swing the bag over my right shoulder and start walking out to the door with angry paces.

Louis grabs my shoulder and turns me around. "I know you're stressed about your first day of school here but it's not even six and I'm your boyfriend and I want to know what the hell you're doing on this hour on your own when it's not with me." He says.

"Oh." I sarcastically say. "So you can leave me, in the middle of I don't know what, but I need to tell you where I'm going because you're my boyfriend? By the way it looks like you were leaving again if I wasn't awake." I laugh and point to his jeans, but Louis keeps quiet and looks at his feet. You know I can handle a lot but when you put it on: it's on.

I know I'm being rude know and maybe I'm overreacting but he has to know he can't just treat me like that and then act like it didn't happen.

"See you." I quietly say and walk out the door. I don't hear him following me and as much as that lay hurt I lift my head while walking through the hallway. When I walk outside I see Liam talking to Niall. I try to avoid him and start walking faster. But Liam saw me and quickly says goodbye to Niall before catching up on me.

"Hey." He breaths and smiles. Why is he smiling at me? I was so rude to him and I'm still quiet angry about his fight with Louis is his apartment.

"Look I'm sorry okay? I shouldn't have fought with Louis then but I don't want to lose you as my friend. I know you're angry and you chose for Louis but you have to know I want you. As my friend and I still don't accept your relationship with him but I don't want him to come between us like he did between you and Zayn." He says. "I hate him. I hate him for everything he has ever done to me and anybody else and that will never change but.."

"Wowowow, what?" I don't let him finish his sentence. "I thought you guys didn't know each other?"

Liam gulps and looks away. "Look that isn't the point, the point is.."

"The point is you lied to me." I finish for him. "Multiple times."

"I don't want to talk about this." Liam speaks. The coward he is.

"I don't want to be your friend if I can't trust you." I almost whisper.

"Oh but you can be his girlfriend even though he's constantly lying to you?"

"He isn't."

"Yes he is and deep down you know it." Liam points to my chest. "You fucking know it!"

"That's not true! You're just jealous and I'm sick of it. I love Louis and he loves me and if you can't accept that then so be it but then I don't want you to be a part of my life ever again."

A silence follows, we're both shocked about the harsh words I spoke. Liam shakes his head in disbelieve.

"Like he brainwashed you." He spits and turns around but turns then back to me. "I thought you were my friend, that we'd be there for each other."

"You're the one that isn't here for me." I quietly say. "We're not friends if you don't support me in anything I do." I almost cry and walk away. Liam isn't following me and for the second time today I have to fight my tears.

I have way too much to think about lately. Who's Louis calling all the time? Why did he suddenly leave and how do Liam and Louis know each other? And most of all: why'd they have to lie about it.

On the end of the street is a coffee shop. I walk there hoping I find no one familiar there. When I open up the door I don't see any familiar faces. I ket out a small breath of relief. I order an ice coffee and sit down on a lonely standing chair in the corner in front of the window. I watch all the people come and go while sipping my coffee.

"Hey." Someone says. I don't recognize his dark hair and eyes. "Can I sit here?" He asks, pointing to the chair next to me. I nod and look back to the street. The guy sits down next to me and takes a sip from his hit coffee. "My name is Calum." He says. "My first day here." He tries to start a conversation. I decide to be as nice as I can cause he looks like a sweet guy. "Maddy." I say. "And it's my first day as well."

We starts chatting about how he hates cold coffee and never wears watches and that he plays the guitar. He reminds me a lot of Louis without the tattoos and bad-boy stuff. And I can use a friend now Liam and Zayn are out of my life and Alison will constantly be around Harry.

"I need to go to class." I say, glancing at the clock. "Yea me too, I'll see you again right?" He asks and I nod. He smiles and small dimples appear in the corners of his mouth. "Here you have my phone number." He speaks and writes it down on my arm.

"See you then." I say and wave him goodbye.

When I'm back on the street I take out the little map we received and look where I have to go. I follow the plan right to history class.
