*Maddy's POV*
This day has been so crazy. My first period until the very last, not a minute have I been concentrated and really that is a very big sign. Louis' story had me thinking every minute of this day that I forgot about everything that's going on. Even about tomorrow. All eyes are on me today, of course because of the paint on my door this weekend but I couldn't care less.
"Howdy!" Alison smiles. I don't respond, how wrong her greet even sounded. "What's wrong?" She walks next to me to our dorm.
"You mean what's right?" I sigh.
"So bad? What's up?"
"Louis, that's up."
"Have you guys been fighting? Has it anything to do with that text on your door?"
"No it's just.. Louis told me about his past and I feel so bad for him."
"I know the feeling trust me, when Harry told me his story I was blown away too." She sighs.
"We talk barely." I state.
"Indeed my friend. You and I need a girls night really soon, how about friday night?" She asks. "Great."
"I'm sorry Ali, about us. I promise I'll make more time."
"It's not your fault, I'm just as guilty as you or even more. But.. That's going to change! See you babe." She smiles and practically runs away.
I'm left alone with my thoughts again. I decide to go sit outside on one of the benches on the grass field. I put my hair into a messy bun and make myself comfortable on the wooden bench. People walk by, some of them eyeing me, others completely ignoring my presence. Honestly I don't care. My mind is too occupied with what Louis told me this morning. It feels like all the pieces fell together. I understand why he did what he did and I understand how he became that way. I feel so sorry for him. If there's be something I could do to help him I wouldn't hesitate. But I don't know where to start. The only thing I can do is trying to make him call his mother and see where that brings us.
Someone sits down next to me, I don't even bother to look who. The person gets out his phone and starts typing a message. He presses send and a few moments later my new phone buzzes. I get it out of my pocket and glance at the name that appears on my screen.
'Callummmm :)' the callerID says. I smile as I read the text. 'You look absolutely terrible ;) wanna talk?' Realizing my friend is sitting next to me.
'Thnx, I call it my I-have-no-future-so-what-is-the-point look --' do you have time?'
'Time is no problem but wanting...'
'Asshole.'
'Loveya too'
I turn to face my friend, his dark eyes smiling at me. "Hungry?" He asks me.
"Always," I groan. He laughs and we stand up, heading to the MacDo nearby.
I explain him everything, not the details of course. There are things he probably doesn't even want to know. Calum adds a 'uhu' and an 'oh' on the right moments. He listens to me and when I'm ready he lets out a breath. "Well like I hear you now.. I think Louis really changed and I don't think you should worry about Miley, she's in the past." He says. Maybe he's right, I should forget about her.
"Thanks Cal." I say. "For the talk."
"Thanks for the food." He winks and I laugh. "You see, you already feel better. You can laugh." He says what makes me smile again.
"What did I do to deserve you? You, Caleb, Ali and Louis.. You are the best friends someone can wish for."
"Just being you over stressed and always planning self. You deserve friends who are there for you, you've been through enough." Calum says. "I mean you're super ass smart, really sweet and you care way too much about everything and everyone. You would even apologize to a chair for sitting on it. Who doesn't want to be friends with you is crazy." His brown eyes as friendly as always. I laugh at his words, he's so sweet. Really I couldn't thank god enough for the friends he gave me. "Thanks Calum, that's really sweet." My eyes watering.
