A/N: This one is so sad :( listen to a sad song while reading! Hope you guys enjoy the story so far, try my best to make it not that terrible ;)
This will be the last time I upload in eleven days cause I'm leaving tomorrow morning.
*Louis' POV*
We're standing on the sidewalk, facing the facade of Starbucks. Her hand grabs mine and she entwines our fingers. I look at her, she's staring at the building. I smile at her and she gives me a short nod back. She puts a few of her dark curls behind her ear. I love the way her eyes always seem to shine. Even though she's sad or scared, the green color always lights up. We walk inside, her grip on my hand tightening with every step.
She looks around, but Miley is nowhere to be seen. Of course because she quitted her job here, she told me yesterday when we were working on a deal. She said she doesn't need the money but I don't believe her. She earns less than I do with this deals and just like me she has no contact with her parents.
We sit down on a table in the back. My eyes traveling to the taller guy than me approaching us. He's wearing an uniform and his blond curls are put under a bandana. "Hi." He says to Maddy. Her face seems to light up by the sight of him. "Hi." She laughs in a breath. "Can we help you?" I ask the guy. He shoots me a glare and ignores my question. "So.. Thursday? First row right?" He asks Maddy. My Maddy may I add. She nods in response. "That's what I got in return." She smiles. Return? What's going on? Thursday? "You won't regret it." The blond one says and winks. I roll my eyes. "Hope so." Maddy answers.
The guy, Ashton his name tag tells me, takes our orders and brings them to our table. Maybe he isn't that bad after all. He gives me a smile of victory when Maddy thanks him. I roll my eyes, the way Maddy would, really like he won? She's my girlfriend and he's bringing me coffee.. Who's the real winner here? In your face Ashton.
When the curly one leaves, Maddy puts her hand on mine and gives me a small smile. She's just relieved that Miley isn't here anymore and really I'm not gonna lie, a big ass weight fell off my shoulders when she told me I wouldn't see her in town again except for the deals. Just seeing Maddy calm, not so tensed and stressed out is a beautiful sight. I keep discovering every minute when I'm around her.
"Stop staring." She chuckles. "You scare me Lou." I shake my head. "I'm sorry, was kind of distracted." I let out a small laugh. She smiles, bringing her cup to her lips.
"So uhm.. Thursday?" I ask her. "Oh Calum and his band are playing and he arranged me a seat in the front row because I drove him to his rehearsal."
"Oh." I say. Taking a sip from my coffee as well. "I was wondering.." She starts, her thumb tracing fast circles on her cup. "If you could drive me home Tuesday, I was planning on visiting my dad and I have no car. It's okay if you have something to do, I can ask Caleb." She asks me.
"Of course." I answer. We both smile and take a sip, not losing eye contact.
"Louis, we're being completely honest with each other right?" She suddenly asks. Well.. No actually. We aren't. I lied about my feelings towards her, it was all faked. She doesn't know about the deals with Jackson and actually she doesn't know anything about my life, about my family and stuff.
"Yeah." I shrug, lying again.
"Cause I feel like you know everything about me but I don't know anything about you." She whispers. "I mean.. I told you about my mom but I don't know anything about your family." I don't answer her. I knew this day would come, that she would start asking questions about the picture of Rosie that she found in my drawer. "And when I found that picture.. You were so upset, I understand you miss her but you didn't want me to know about it." She says. "I want you to be honest with me. You can tell me everything Louis, you're not standing alone." Her hand is on top of mine now, her green eyes so vulnerable.
