*Maddy's POV*

"Come on don't act this stupid! Just give me the keys already." I whine. Caleb is lying on his bed watching one of those guy movies with his hands behind his head.

"Come on you prick! This is very important to me!" Calum whines as well. It's cute how these two treat each other like they've known each other for years even though they met only less than a week ago. It's funny how they've become friends this quickly. It warms my heart to see Caleb made a friend this quickly, being the unsociable boy he is.

"Here." Caleb gives in and throws me the keys of his car. "Don't break it."

"Thanks lazy ass." Calum mumbles and rolls these dark eyes of his I've grown so fond of.

"You know what I want in return." I say when we're in the car. Speaking like a mafia boss. Calum laughs and nods. "Yeah, front row and a free drink, no problemo." We laugh and the way to the café they'd rehearse in is spend on Calum giving me bad directions so we almost got lost. He's telling me a story I'm not even listening to and I try to get him there on time. His constant talking and laughing isn't really helping but it's just adorable to watch.

When we finally arrive, Calum invites me in. I follow right behind him with his guitar on his shoulder. When we walk in, three guys are already seated and look in our direction. We seem to be late because they have a frown on their faces. But these quickly fade when Ashton sees I followed Calum inside. "Just try to be on time sometime." One of the guys sighs. Looks like Calum has a bad habit.

"My roommate is going to be a bit later, he isn't a good timekeeper." Caleb's words fill my thoughts and a smile appears on my face.

"You want a drink?" Ashton asks when Calum is getting ready.

"No thanks, I should get going."

"I'm Luke by the way and this is Michael." The blonde one says. "Maddy." I smile.

"We know." Michael winks.

I frown and the two of them laugh as Ashton's cheeks turn pink. "Yea we heard a lot about you."

"Hope it was all positive then."

"Of course, you're pretty cool." Calum joins in and high fives me.

"Yea, very positive. Isn't it Irwin?" The three of them are laughing now and soon the pink on Ashton's cheeks turns into a dark shade of red.

"Come on, we have to rehearse. Maddy is going to be in the front row with a free drink in her hands so we have to play fantastic!" Calum says. All three of them look at me now.

"So you come?" Ashton asks excited.

"Yup." I say, dropping the p. "I really should get going now, what time should I pick you up?" I ask Calum.

"I'll bring him, don't worry about it." Luke says. "Yea we can get him there, don't worry." Michael speaks.

"Okay then, bye guys. Good luck!" I say and wave a last time when they yelled bye all together and that alone sounded like music to my ears. They must be really good.

On my way to campus I have to stop myself from going into the Starbucks. Ashton isn't at work so probably Miley works today and really I don't need to see her right now. We all know she painted that on my door. I'm not scared of her, Louis may is but I'm not. She's just a crazy kid who dropped out of school and got off the trail. She's messing her life up and probably doesn't give a damn about it.

So I decide not to get a coffee then, just to save myself from emotionally losing control. I'm a good girl and I wouldn't hurt anyone on purpose but she gets the worst out of me. She makes me.. aggressive even. The day she threw at me that she and Louis 'used to fuck'.. I could tear all the hair out of her head. One at a time.
