As the team entered the stadium, the cheering was already resonating into the air. It seems that the news has spreaded quite quickly. Their team, Kiseki High, was the only team that it's five starters fully consisted of first year players. That includes the benched players. Not only that, but it seems that Souma had a certain reputation in basketball as the crowd went wild as soon as that coach stepped out into the stadium spotlights.
"Whoah, looks like Souma-sensei is popular outside of our school.." Aomine commented.
"It is not surprising," Akashi informed.
"Eh?"
"Our school does not focus on social status so, we all may not know. But.." Akashi turned to his team mates with a confident smile on his lips. "Our coach was apart of the national team during college."
"What?!" Aomine jawdropped.
"That would be trivial right now, though," Kuroko cut in. "The audience is actually looking at us now."
The team looked around them and it was true. The spectators cheered as Souma but, their eyes were eyeing their team curiously.
"We have little to worry about all that right now, nanodayo."
"Eh?" Aomine and Kuroko turned to Midorima. As for Akashi, he merely gave a amused smile but continued to walk over to the bench.
"If you guys haven't noticed, Kise-chin isn't here.."
"WHAT THE FUCK!" Aomine hollered.
"What's the ruckus over there?" Souma snapped.
"Eh, where's Ki-chan?" Momoi asked as she was too busy discussing the strategies with Souma earlier to notice.
"Mi-chin isn't here yet either.."
Souma groaned in annoyance.
"I told that idiot to focus!"
As they started to slightly panic over the missing player, the three benched players were silent.
The black haired male, Izumi looked around him with his emotionless eyes.

Megumi jogged towards the court but, she slowed into a stop when she saw a tall figure standing in front of the locker rooms.
"Megumicchi!" Kise smiled as soon as she stopped in front of him.
"Kise-kun.." Megumi smiled back. She walked closer towards him until she was at arms reach.
Megumi blushed when Kise placed his hands on her small shoulders.
"W-What is it?"
"Shh.." Kise placed his index finger across her lips to signal her to not say anything. That only made Megumi blush even brighter.
The longer Kise stared at her, the more her blush spreaded on her face. Soon, it crept all the way to her ears. His honey brown gaze was making her knees go weak. It was embarrasing but, it was Kise. She didn't mind it.
Finally, Kise chuckled at her reaction. He had questions about what she talked about with Minato last night but, he refrained from asking. Right now, seeing her standing before him was enough. He let go of her shoulders and took a step back, worried that he might instinctively hug her and ruin his resolve.
"I'm sorry for staring at you like that," Kise said softly. "I just couldn't help but imagine it."
"I-Imagine what?" Megumi blushed even more.
"How Megumicchi will look like when we win the match. Then, the whole Inter High!" Kise grinned. "I feel so useless back there on the bus. I didn't know what to do nor did I know what was happening to you. I also kept getting frustrated when your brother came. For that, I'm sorry. I hope to find a way to make you feel better. So, I'll win this for you, Megumicchi.."
