It was peaceful during dinner. The family was all there including Kin and Gin. Even though, Megumi wondered why the two were avoiding Noriko's look, it was still all okay. But, the bump on Kasamatsu's head made her question things.

"A-Ano, wh-what happened to your head, Yukio-nii?" Megumi spoke up.

They all stopped eating and glanced over to him. Plus, they felt weird with the sudden change of Megumi. She's never the first person to initiate a conversation before. Not even among her family members. She's not really the type to be chatty. But, seeing a more curious Megumi seems to be a good sign here.

Kasamatsu slumped his shoulder before taking a quick glance at Noriko.

'I can't say, Aunt Noriko hit me in the head for failing to follow you when you were with Kuroko, right?' he thought to himself. Noriko was smiling but, we all know an innocent smile from Noriko is a bad sign.

"I bumped into a wall earlier.." That was his best excuse.

"Eh? D-Did you put ice on it already?"

"Y-Yeah, Minako helped me," Kasamatsu exchanged looks with Minako, hoping that she would understand and back him up.

Minako got it and added, "Yupp! It's just a little bump, no biggie~"

"O-Oh, I see," Megumi smiled.

Kise was looking at her all this time. He liked how she cares for her family so much. It's not questionable on how much her family supported her for all those years. Her fierce and over protective aunt, Noriko. Her wise and calm grandmother, Hina. Her cheerful and positive childhood friend, Minako. Her grumpy yet understanding cousin, Yukio. Not to forget the twins, Gin and Kin who seem to admire Megumi a lot. But, something wasn't complete..

"Megumicchi is really caring, huh.." Kise spoke up, smiling at her.

"E-Eh?"

"Yupp! She sure is!" Gin agreed. "Aneki is the best!"

"Megumi loves helping people and so, she observes them to make sure they are always well. That is how she notices small details about them," Hina said, staring longingly at her tea. She seem to be in a distant time in those eyes.

"Reminds me a lot about father.." Noriko spoke up.

Kise's face lit up in interest at the topic.

"Was he like Megumicchi?"

"Yeah, he sure was. Or should I say, Megumi is like grandfather.." Kasamatsu stated.

"He never raised his voice too! Just like Micchan. Plus, he taught Micchan how to cook when we were kids!" Minako added.

"Onii-chan and I were still very little back then. But, we remember him making silly faces to make us stop crying! Right, onii-chan?" Kin said enthusiastically.

"That's right!" Gin said with his mouth full, earning a strict glare from Noriko. He flinched and almost choked on his food.

"Whoahh! He sounds really cool.." Kise praised. He felt sad for not being able to meet this man. He did a great job training Megumi and even raising her but..
