The next day was windy with many clouds drifting lazily in the sky. It was a nice day to relax and just enjoy the cool weather. Well, unless you're apart of the basketball team.
The team stood staring cluelessly at the contraption before them. The clearing was littered with poles that had arm-like things connected to them. The surfaces were covered with a layer of safety guards so that whoever gets hits by it doesn't feel much pain than they have to.
"W-What are those things for?" Kise asked, blinking his eyes a few times as if to make sure he wasn't imagining stuff.
"This is for ball handling training. Today we're going to see how well you all maneuver around opponents," Megumi explained, putting a bag full of basketballs on the ground in front of her.
Souma was watching from the sidelines along with Hokuto and Momoi. He was wearing shades, his arms crossed on his chest. Hokuto was also wearing shades and wore a top that showed some of her cleavage matched with a pair of decent shorts. She had a first aids kit resting on her lap. Momoi was holding her clipboard close to her chest, anxiously waiting for the training to start.
"I can't wait for the boys to suffer!" Hokuto clenched her fists in excitement. "Ahahaha!"
"I kind of agree," Souma smirked.
"E-Eh, s-sensei?" Momoi laughed nervously at the two.
Then, she refocused on the team. Megumi positioned herself in front of the poles or more specifically known as training dummies. She bounced the ball, calmly and closed her eyes.
A gush of wind blew and the dummies spinned. The stronger the wind the faster they spinned.
After some time, Megumi dribbled the ball forward. The way she maneuvered through the dummies were amazing. A split second before the arms touch her, she would evade it and manage to get through.
It was as if she was riding the wind, passing through the dummies and getting to the other side without being hit. The way Megumi handled the ball was so graceful and neat that, they almost forgot that Megumi never played basketball before.
"Ball handling, alertness, and ability to guess the opponents' movements will all be tested. Understand?" Megumi faced them as the wind stopped blowing, allowing the team to see her clearly.
They were still in awe but, soon snapped out. Aomine was first to step forward.
"Heh. All we need to do is handle the ball until we reach the other side, right?" Aomine yelled.
"Simply put, yes."
"Bring it on."

An hour later, the team was having a break. The first reason would be that it was almost lunch time. Second reason is, most of them got bruises on their arms and face. Maybe even their butts but, that's only for Kise and Aomine.
'Easy' was never the right term to describe the training because even Aomine, who has the best ball handling skills had his face slammed by the dummy's arm and landed face first on the ground. Finally, his butt got hit by the dummy. Not a pretty sight there.
Kise did a pretty good job at the beginning but, the wind suddenly blew stronger and he got pushed by the dummies all the way back to the start. He landed butt first, also sliding backwards on his back.
Murasakibara got angry at the dummies and ended up smashing one of them. While Midorima got hit in the guts - actually almost at the nether regions, if you know what I mean - by the dummy.
It felt more like soldier training than basketball.
But, there were two who managed to figure out the technique.
