"But it's raining outside and what if Felicity gets scared? What if it begins to thunder?!"
"(Y/N), sweetheart, she's fine. There's nothing to worry about." Niall calmed you and you sighed before nodding.
"I suppose I'm overreacting." Just then a loud thunder crash came rippling down and you both heard a girk scream before Felicity was instantly pounding on the door.
"I'm coming sweetheart!" You yelled running to the door opening it. Felicity ran into your warm brace and cried as you pick her up. "I've got you. It's ok Felicity." You shut the door and walked over to the bed.
"M-mummy..." she sobbed and you laid her down between you and Niall. Niall stroked her hair and pulled her close.
"Come to daddy princess." He whispered and she clung to his bare chest as you snuggled in behind her.
"Mummy and daddy will protect you." You whispered and she sniffled as the heavy rain began coming down. You felt Felicity relax between you and stroked her hair before Niall extended an arm over both of you.
"I love you." He whispered.
"I love you to." You said back and he chuckled.
"I was talking to Felicity." You blushed and he pulled you closer.
"W-well... I was talking to the air." He lightly laughed and kissed your forehead.
"I love you, (Y/N)." He defined it was you and you smiled.
"I love you more."
