Sighing, you saw your sister walk by with a bunch of populars as you hid behind your locker.
She's basically the cheerleader and you're the emo geek nobody wants to know though your natural hair was starting to grow back.
Pushing your hair from your face, you shut your locker.
"Hi..." looking sidewards, you saw Niall leaning on a locker smiling awkwardly at you.
"W-what do you want?" You asked and he sighed shrugging.
"I just..." he trailed off as the school bell rang. "I wanna be your best friend again!" He shouted as you rolled your eyes.
"No Niall. I'm not going to be your rebound-
"I dumped (Y/S/N)!" He said biting his bottom lip.
"You want an award with that?" Pushing past him, he grabbed your shoulder making you look back at him.
"I miss you." He whispered with a broken stare making you hold back an urge to hug him tightly.
"Well I don't miss you!" You snapped. Anger of thinking he abandoned you for his sister. Snatching your arm back, he swallowed hard as you walked towards class.
Don't look back! Don't look back!
You sighed and slowly snuck a glance to see Niall just staring at you teary eyed. Dammit!
~At lunchtime~
You sat lonely again at your table again pushing your potato bake around your plate.
"You look lonely." Looking up, you saw Niall cautiously sit next to you.
"You'll be surprised." You said pushing your food away and standing up.
"Wait. Where are you going?"
"For a walk." You returned coldly before pulling your bag on and walking away.
"(Y/N)!" Niall called though you only walked faster.
