In the morning of the 5th of April, I woke up to Scott's light snoring. I could feel that my face was a little puffy from my crying the night before. I watched Scott sleep as I felt my eyes start going down and he started to wake up.
"Morning Scott," I whispered as I moved his hair from his eyes. He woke up and smiled at me.
"Morning Mae. How did you sleep?" he asked as I continued to move his hair.
"I would have wished not to cry in front of my fiancé," I said as he adjusted himself on the pillow to look at me more.
"Is that a sign that you are willing to make this work and forget everything else that we had to go through only to find out that we are to get married?" he asked. I moved a little closer and nodded.
"We have a deal and I know that I wouldn't want to cheat on my deal," I said and he move my hair.
"Would you like to share breakfast with me?" he asked. I smiled and nodded.

Emma helped me changed into the nicest dress that I had ever seen in my life that would be on myself. She helped me put on the royal blue dress that stopped just below my ankles but above my feet so I didn't step on it. She laid out my blue heels and I slipped them on.
"How long have you and Robert been...?" I couldn't find the proper word for the type of the relationship that they had as she helped me sit down at the vanity to do my hair.
"Robert and I have been married for five years, Miss Morgan," Emma said. I blushed, feeling stupid.
"I apologise for making an assumption," I said as she started brushed my hair out and pinning it up.
"That is not a problem, Miss Morgan. That information was not disclosed to you or Mr. Sire," she said as she continued to do my hair.
"Regardless, I should have known that I shouldn't have made an assumption," I said. We were silent as she finished up on my hair.
"Would you like a hat today, Miss Morgan?" Emma asked. I stood and she stepped back.
"That will not be necessary," I said as I headed for the door. Emma ran over and opened the door for me. Robert was standing in the sitting room with his arms behind his back.
"Miss Morgan, Mr. Sire is on the outside terrance waiting for you. Emma, the chef has breakfast in the kitchen for Miss Morgan and Mr. Sire," Robert said without looking over to us.
"Thank you, Robert," I said as I walked to the door that led out to the outdoor terrance. Scott was standing between the two planters, holding his champagne, sipping it once in awhile. "Scott." He turned and smiled. As he walked towards me, he put his champagne on the table and held his hands out for me.
"Mae," he said as he took my hands. "How does this beauty exist on this earth?" I smiled and kissed my knuckles as he kept eye contact with me.
"Scott," I said as I felt my face warm up. He led me to the table and pulled out a chair for me. I sat and he took his seat across from me. He poured me champagne and I smiled at him. He took my hands and we stared at each other.
"I apologise that I cannot get my fiancée a gift for her nineteenth birthday but as soon as we dock, anything you name is yours," he told me. I shook my head.
"Nothing is needed, Scott. Our engagement was a pleasant surprise so it is more than welcome as my birthday present," I said as Emma brought our food on a cart.
"Breakfast for the day, miss and sir. Eggs, potatoes, and fruit," Emma said as she put a plate in front of both of us.
"Thank you Emma," Scott said. Emma walked and stood by the back wall as I looked at Scott again. I ran my thumb against his knuckles.
"Scott, do you want children?" I asked, softly.
"Children?" he asked. I nodded as I looked at the table and started eating the breakfast. "I never really thought about having children considering my past social status," he said. I took another bite. "However, I would love to have a few children with you," he whispered as he touched my cheek. I smiled at him and he smiled at me.
"Thank you Scott," I said as we ate the breakfast that was given to us.
"What would you like to do today?" he asked.
"Are we allowed to leave the ship or did Mr. Ismay say that we have to stay on the ship?" I asked. He smiled.
"As long as we are on the ship when she leaves the dock, he doesn't care what we do," he said. I smiled.
"Would you like to see where I grew up?" I asked.
"It would be an honour to see where you grew up. Emma, call a taxi for an hour and a half from now. We are going to London. And make a reservation for the night in London," Scott said. Emma nodded and walked inside. We finished eating pretty quickly and we went inside.
"You should tell Mr. Ismay that we won't be aboard for the evening," I told Scott as he helped me put on my jacket.
"How about you join me?" he asked as he put on his jacket and I took his arm. We walked to Mr. Ismay's office, only to get the his manservant.
"May I help you?" Mr. Ismay's manservant asked.
"Please tell your boss that we will be gone for the evening and will return tomorrow evening. We will enjoy it if he joins us for dinner in two evenings," Scott said. The manservant nodded. We walked to the dock where Robert was directing the crew to be careful with our two trunks.
"Sir, ma'am, your taxi is waiting for you at the bottom," Robert said as we walked closer. Scott nodded and we walked down the plank. I was excited to go home.
