When we entered the restaurant, everyone instantly noticed Captain Smith which made me beyond uncomfortable. Everyone was looking at all of us and being someone who much rather be hiding in a room drawing, I found myself physically close to Scott in order to hide from all the people who were trying to gain Captain Smith's attention.

"Mae, are you feeling well?" Scott asked. I looked at him as he readjusted my folder in his other arm.

"I just don't like the attention that is brought to us with Captain Smith here," I said, softly. He rubbed my knuckles and I smiled at him.

"It is fine to be seen with Captain Smith but Mr. Ismay, I fear is not who we would want to be seen with," he said as we got to the table. Scott helped me take off my jacket and sit first then sat down next to me. Mrs. Smith was sitting across from me and Captain Smith sat across from Scott.

"Will you hand me my folder, please?" I asked when Scott got comfortable. He smiled at handed me the folder and I pulled out the new pencil box of my pocket to put it on the table. I opened the box and my folder, pulling a piece of paper out.

"That is a very beautiful box that you have there," Mrs. Smith said. I looked up and touched the box.

"Scott gave it to me today as a... I'm actually not sure what occasion he gave it to me for," I stated as I looked at Scott. He smiled at me and looked around the room.

"That is a good question. It was a mixture of our engagement, your birthday, and just because I wanted to get you a present," he said as his eyes found my eyes once more. I smiled and he touched my wrist.

"I told you this newer generation still knows how treat their fiancées and wives," Captain Smith said. I smiled at Scott.

"And I told you that the newer generation knows how to take care of their fiancés and husbands," Mrs. Smith said and Scott took my gloved hand to kiss. I blushed and he smiled at me. I pulled my hand away from Scott to open my box of pencils so I could draw. I took off my gloves and engagement ring only to replace my engagement ring on my bare hand.

"I am glad that you and Miss Morgan could join us for dinner tonight," Captain Smith told Scott. I started outlining Mrs. Smith as she looked at her husband.

"We forgot to thank you for inviting us to dinner tonight," Scott said. I sketched Mrs. Smith's round face first then started working on her facial features.

"It is not something to thank us for. The honour is having Miss Morgan and yourself at the table with us tonight, Mr. Sire," Captain Smith stated.

"Especially when you are newly engaged according to Edward," Mrs. Smith said. I finished with her face and moved on to her body.

"It took a lot of work in order to get her to allow me to court her. She was absolutely independent and once she allowed me into her life, it was like God had made us for each other," Scott said. I looked at him briefly and smiled before I started drawing Captain Smith.

"You two seem very comfortable with each other," Mrs. Smith said as I started shading in Captain Smith's beard. I actually liked how full that Captain Smith's beard was.

"She brings out the more civilised side of me which is something that I am certain people enjoy more than my uncivilised state," Scott said as the waiters brought the hors doeuvres to the table.

"I am sure that God enjoys your civilised state," Mrs. Smith said. I looked at her and smiled.

"I hope that he does," I said as I nodded then looking at my drawing again. I started to shade in facial features of the captain.

"I must say that your fiancée has quite a talent, Mr. Sire," Mrs. Smith said and Scott touched my back, causing me to look up and smile at Mrs. Smith.

"Thank you. I went to an art school in France," I said as I looked back down to continue working on the drawing.

"I followed her to France where she finally allowed me to court her," Scott said. I caught Captain Smith's look at us as he shot a knowing look at Scott.

"That must have made you very happy," Captain Smith said. I shaded in the clothing that they were wearing and I smiled as they both took a bite of the hors doeuvres on the table.

"She makes me very happy and I can't ask for a better wife," Scott said. I felt his eyes on me and I knew that blood rushed up to cheeks, showing my embarrassment.

"If you keep it up, I will have to think that something is being done behind my back," I said as I continued to shade in the picture.

"I can assure you that nothing is happening behind your back," Scott said and I looked up to smile at him.

"Good," I said as I went back to the drawing.

"Oh, Edward, what did Joseph tell us to tell Mr. Sire and Miss Morgan?" Mrs. Smith asked.

"Thank you for reminding me, Sarah," Captain Smith said, "Mr. Ismay regrets to tell you that he can not join you for breakfast tomorrow morning due to work he has to get done before the ninth."

"Thank you for informing us about the change," Scott said.

"I find it dishonourable that he didn't tell you himself," Mrs. Smith said as she took a sip of her wine. I shook the pencil dust off of the paper before I grabbed another pencil to sign the bottom of the drawing.

"That is not something we can control," Scott said as I signed the drawing. MM 6 April 1912.

"Mrs. Smith," I said as I handed her the drawing and she looked at it.

"This is absolutely beautiful. You drew this with all our movements?" she asked. I nodded and Captain Smith looked at the drawing.

"Thank you, Miss Morgan," Captain Smith said. I smiled as I put my pencils away.

"It was my pleasure."
