Scott ordered Mr. Ismay's maid to fetch him and bring him to his office because we would be waiting for his presence. The maid nodded and ran off as we entered his office that could only really be Thomas's office since we found out that Mr. Ismay was only on board as a passenger.

"Are you ready to convince him with our smoking gun?" I asked as I sat on the couch. He sat next to me and touched my hand.

"We won't be convincing anyone of anything. We are giving him a choice," he said. I smiled at him and he smiled back at me.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Sire and Miss Morgan. I am sure that you are not concerned with Mr. Andrews joining us today," Mr. Ismay said as they walked into the office. Scott stood and looked at Thomas.

"Not at all. In fact, it makes this better," Scott said. I smiled at Scott as he walked to the liquor bar. "Brandy, gentlemen?" Scott asked. I watched as Thomas and Mr. Ismay exchanged a look.

"Please," Thomas said as Mr. Ismay nodded. I stood and walked over to the blue print that was unrolled on the desk.

"Which one of you gentlemen named the Titanic?" I asked as I looked at the deck plans of the Titanic.

"I did. It means-" Mr. Ismay started.

"Exceptional strength, power or size," I finished, "I am aware what it means Mr. Ismay."

"The ship is something of great strength, power, and size," Scott said.

"What are you getting at, Mr. Sire?" Mr. Ismay asked as he watched us with a careful eye. I smiled and looked at him.

"We know something that we are pretty certain you don't want the passengers and the public to know," Scott said. Mr. Ismay laughed and put his hands on the desk.

"And what do you think that you know that we would want to be kept a secret?" Mr. Ismay asked. I looked at Scott and he smiled.

"Mae, how about you share with Mr. Ismay and Thomas what we know?" Scott said. I smiled and looked at Mr. Ismay and Thomas.

"I don't think that you will so happy if the press finds out that you gentlemen have a fire burning in the front of the ship," I told them. Thomas looked at Mr. Ismay.

"You said that you would deal with it! The fire can weaken the iron," Thomas stated and I looked at Scott.

"It is unsinkable, regardless of anything that any of you say," Mr. Ismay said. Thomas rubbed his face and Scott took a step forward.

"It's why the ship isn't filled up, isn't it?" Scott asked. Mr. Ismay looked at us and I held Scott's arm.

"What do you want in order to keep this quiet?" Mr. Ismay asked. I looked at Scott.

"We want you to make sure that we are supported for the rest of our lives," Scott said. Mr. Ismay sighed and nodded.

"Very well," Mr. Ismay said.

"Come on, Mae," Scott said as he finished his brandy and then he led me out of the office. We made sure that we were a good distance from the office before we started laughing. We looked at each other.

"Oh, God Almighty, that was something else," I told him. He smiled and shook his head.

"We had the upper hand on Mr. Ismay and Thomas. We were in control," he said and I kissed him. He kissed me back and I smiled into the kiss.

"Am I interrupting something?" a voice asked. We turned towards the voice and found Officer Lowe looking at us with a smirk on his face.

"Depends on what you think that you are interrupting," Scott said. I held Scott's arm and felt my face warm up as Officer Lowe walked closer to us.

"I saw you down on E Deck, Scott, during my rounds. Would you like to explain to me why you were down there then in the boiler room?" Officer Lowe asked. I looked at Scott and held his hand as he stood straighter.

"I have friends down there. I was an officer, Harold, and I was visiting my friends. In addition, I am in first class and I am free to move through all the decks," Scott said. Officer Lowe looked at the wall as he took a deep breath.

"Listen, be careful. There are people that will talk if you make a wrong move down there. I don't want you to be on Mr. Ismay's destroy list," Officer Lowe stated.

"Don't worry about it. We have Mr. Ismay covered. Actually, Harold, let me know everything that happens up in the Bridge, won't you?" Scott asked. Officer Lowe smiled.

"I will, Scott. We were suppose to be officers together so you know that I will tell you everything that I know," he said. Scott shook his hand and I nodded towards Officer Lowe.

"Thank you Officer Lowe," I said. Officer Lowe shook his head.

"Please, Mae, call me Harold. Officer Lowe is too formal for me," he said. I smiled and nodded at him as he walked pass up. Scott gripped my hand and started walking back to the outside deck so we could walk around.
