The next year went by fast. I host several dinner parties to gain money to help Titanic survivors. But that isn't the most important thing that happened.
23 November 1912, I became Mrs Mae Sire. My father and Sarah were both there and I couldn't imagine what either of them were thinking. Scott was dashing in his wedding suit and I was wearing my wedding dress was very curve hiding.
Maddie was there and was holding John Jacob Astor VI which something that warmed my heart. Molly sat next to her and of course all the surviving Titanic survivors. The few friends I made were also in attendance but they weren't that important to me. Mrs Freeman was there and so was Mr Anderson and they seem to fancy each other. Sadly, Mr Ismay was there as well and I felt kinda bad.
At the reception, Scott held my hand as everyone started dancing. Now before you get any wrong ideas of why I was wearing a curve hiding dress, Scott gave me the ideal wedding and I was wearing a princess dress. He was the best husband anyone could ask for.
"Would you like to dance, Mrs Sire?" Scott whispered to me. I looked at him.
"A Song Without Words?" I asked. He nodded and looked at the quartet that was playing. They stopped and they started playing the song. I smiled and took Scott's hand.
"Is this everything that you imagine?" Scott asked as we danced. I looked at my gloved hand clasped in his.
"It's better. You really outdid yourself," I said as he turned me around and I held on to him.
"You outdid yourself," he said as he spun me around. I smiled at him and he held me close as we dancing next to each other.

Eleven months later, Scott walked into the hospital room as the nurse handed me our little girl. I was exhausted and Scott fell to his knees as he saw her. He started crying and crawled over to us.
"She is beautiful," Scott whispered as he touched her small face. I smiled and kissed her forehead.
"I picked a name," I whispered. He looked at me. I smiled and blushed. "Catherine Nellie."
"Catherine never lived her life so our little girl will," he said as we looked at the tiny child in my arms.

"Give it back Thomas!" William yelled at his older brother. Catherine watched her youngest brothers, unamused.
"You know that it is mine!" Thomas exclaimed. I shook my head as I continued to knit.
"I think if you two don't know who should have it then I should," Edward, the eldest, said. Catherine looked at her knitting as she shook her ten year old head. 1923. The height of the flapper age. The boys kept bickering and I touched my stomach.
Oh please let it be a girl, I thought, rubbing my six month pregnant stomach.
"Boys," Scott's voice rang out over the sitting room and our three boys looked at him.
"Father!" they yelled, running towards my husband and World War I vet. He picked all three up and they screamed-laughed. I looked at Catherine and poked her back to make her sit up straight instead of slouch.
"Sorry, Mother," Catherine whispered.
"Boys what have I said about fighting in front of ladies?" Scott asked. The boys looked at each other and Edward raised his hand from their position.
"Not in front of ladies," Edward recited from memory.
"Scotty, let them be," I said as I stood and picked up the toy. Scott put down the boys and they walked to me. It was a little plane so I made noises and flew it around their heads. They all laughed. "Boys, how about we don't take this on the trip and your father teaches you to play jacks instead?" All the boys started talking over each other.
"We need to get to the dock now though. The car is in the front and loaded," Scott said. Catherine stood and her brothers went to her and she took William's hand.
"Are you ready?" I whispered as Scott came to me and took my hand. We were going on a ship for the first time since Titanic.
"First time on the water since 1912, I think I was born ready," he said. I took a deep breath.
"I promise that if anything happens, I'll go with the children on whatever you put us on," I stated. He kissed my forehead and I closed my eyes.
"This one has enough lifeboats for everyone on the ship," he said and I smiled at him.
"I love you, Scott," I declared and he smiled.
"I love you, Mae," he told me and we looked at our children that we ready with their coats and hats.
"Well, don't we just have the most handsome children?" I asked as Emma helped me into my coat and hat. Our children smiled at me and Scott smiled at all of us.
"Are you ready, ma'am?" Emma asked as her son, Robert Jr. came running in with Robert to bring my umbrella.
"Yes, I am," I stated and took Robert's arm again. We walked outside and I realised something.
Everything I ever wanted I got. A loving husband, beautiful children, money. And it was a pretty good life.
