After the prayers that were led by Captain Smith, Scott and I quickly, and quietly, found Thomas and Captain Smith who were talking to a group of people. We waited nearby as to not disturb them as we talk quietly between ourselves.

"Once we get to America, I am taking you to eat a cheeseburger. And none of that fancy shit cheeseburgers. We are going to an old fashion burger joint to eat burgers," Scott told me. I laughed a little.

"You Americans and your damned cheeseburgers," I told him. He laughed and looked around. I smiled at him and when he looked back down at me, he raised an eyebrow.

"What?" he asked. I looked at the ground, blushing. He lifted my chin and I smiled at him.

"I was wondering how God blessed me to be with a six foot man that cares so much about me and everyone else around us," I stated. He smiled at me and squeezed my hand.

"The same reason he blessed me with a five foot five inch woman that is the definition of beauty," he said and I sighed at him.

"Scott, Mae, it is a pleasure to see you again," Mr. Straus said as him and his wife walked closer to us.

"Mr. Straus, Mrs Straus, how are you this morning?" Scott asked. The Straus looked at me and I smiled.

"We just wanted to say that Mae has quite a beautiful voice. We heard her singing the hymns and neither of us have ever heard more beautiful singing in out sixty plus years of life," Mrs. Straus told us. I felt my cheeks get redder from the fact that someone heard me.

"She does have quite a beautiful voice that I cannot imagine how God allowed an angel to join us here on Earth," Scott stated. I felt my face warm up even more and I looked at the Strauses.

"Thank you, Mr and Mrs Straus," I stated, softly which caused them to laugh at my embarrassment. They nodded and continued to move. "You slimy b*****d," I muttered so only Scott could hear. He laughed.

"You are cute when you get all flustered when I compliment you," he laughed. I looked up at him and he smiled.

"You are a confusing man, Mr Sire," I told him and he smiled at me. I bit my lip and looked at the ground.

"Scott, Mae, there you two are!" JJ exclaimed as he, Maddie, and Molly walked over to us. I smiled at them as Maddie waved at us.

"Heavens, we missed you two dearly at dinner last night," Maddie said. I looked at Scott.

"I fear that Mae hasn't feeling well due to late so we ate in our suite last night in hopes she would feel better. I am asking a lot from her to move to America so suddenly," Scott said. I looked at him. He was a really good liar.

"However, I am adjusting to the idea and I just needed some alone time with my fiancé last night," I stated. Molly nodded.

"That is something that you would do that for your fiancée, Scott," Molly stated. I smiled up at Scott who moved a small piece of my hair out of my face.

"I would do anything for Mae," Scott stated. I smiled.

"As a husband is to do so to secure his wife financial security and physical safety," JJ said. I shook my head.

"I could care less about financial security, JJ. What I do care about is that Scott keeps his promises," I stated. JJ looked at me in shock while Scott smiled at me put his hand on my back.

"As much as we enjoy your company, we do have an appointment with Thomas and Captain Smith," Scott said as he turned us away and we walked towards Thomas and Captain Smith.

"Good morning, Mae and Scott," Thomas said as we approached the duo that had just finished speaking to a group.

"Good morning, Thomas, Captain Smith," I said. Scott nodded.

"Captain Smith, your service today was one of the best that I have ever seen or heard," Scott said. Captain Smith nodded and I smiled at him.

"Thank you, however it is my last service that I will be giving," Captain Smith informed us. I looked at Scott and he, too, had a confused look on his face.

"Captain Smith is retiring after we reach the dock in America," Thomas informed us.

"Well, then, a congratulations is order, I believe," Scott said. I smiled at Captain Smith as he smiled at Scott.

"Thank you, but there is no need to congratulate me. This is something that has been in the works for quite some time before this voyage," Captain Smith stated. I nodded.

"None the less, Captain Smith, congratulations on your retirement," I told him and he smile at me.

"Thank you dear but it really is nothing that I am retiring. Twenty six years on the sea is more than enough and Sarah is ready for me to retire as well," he said. I smiled as Scott looked at me.

"I am sure that Helen is more than happy you are retiring from the sea," Thomas stated and I looked at Thomas. "Helen is the captain's only child," Thomas said. I nodded and Scott smiled at me.

"I am certain that your daughter will be happy to see you regularly," Scott stated. Captain Smith smiled and nodded at Scott.

"I am certain she will be but first we have to get to America... And get your tour started," Captain Smith said. I laughed as I readjusted my arm on Scott's and we started walking out of the dining hall, where church had taken place for our tour of the Titanic.
