After Scott and I finished eatting, I dismissed Robert and Emma from their duties after they cleaned the plates. I got my jacket that had my pencil box in it and took my pencil box. I had sent Scott to undress while I set everything up.
"I can't do it," he said as he walked out. I looked at him as he stood in his trousers. I raised my eyebrow as he sat on his knees to be eye level with me.
"I understand. Not everyone can model for me," I told him and he kissed my cheek. He stood and I decided to take the moment to observe his muscular body. He was completely toned and with his spencers off his shoulders and hanging down, I was thinking unholy thoughts that made me bit my lip.
"Maybe you should go change," he said as he looked at me, staring at him. I bit my lip and ran to the dressing room.

I finished dressing and walked to the sitting room since I couldn't find Scott. He was drinking a brandy and I walked to him. I had my white night gown on and my white robe on compared to his all black assembly.
"Scott, what are you doing?" I asked. He looked at me and held my arms with a smile that I couldn't help but to return.
"I am sorry that I couldn't do it," he said. I looked at the ground, keeping my smile on my face.
"It's fine. Maybe you couldn't do it today but we have the rest of our lives, correct?" I asked. He kissed me and I smiled into the kiss.
"You are correct. We do have the rest of our lives," he said, "Don't you have to draw Thomas and the Astors?" I shrugged.
"I guess I have been avoiding making a date to draw them since I want to relax while we are on the ship. I want to spend as much time as possible with you," I said and he moved my hair.
"I want to spend as much time as possible with you as well," he told me and I moved his hair. He smiled and then there was a knock on the door. Scott and I looked over at the door and Scott walked over to answer it.
"Good evening sir. The captain asked me to inform you that the life boat practice is canceled for tomorrow due to the fact that church would be disrupted with the lifeboat practice," the steward told us as he stood in the doorway. Scott looked at me.
"Will the lifeboat practice be rescheduled?" Scott asked as he looked back at the steward that gave us the information.
"It is still unclear, sir, if the practice will be rescheduled or not since we should be in port on Wednesday," the steward stated. Scott nodded.
"Very well," Scott said as he closed the door. He looked at me as he rubbed his face that was getting a slight beard and walked to the port hole.
"Scotty? What's wrong?" I asked as I walked to his side and he looked at me.
"The lifeboat practice should have happened when we did the lifejacket practice," he stated. I looked at him with a confused look.
"Why? What's wrong?" I asked. He moved my hair that I had already let down due to the fact we were getting ready for bed.
"They are suppose to make sure that everyone on the ship knows how to load the lifeboats and who goes where to make sure that all the lifeboats are loaded properly," he said. I looked at him and shook my head.
"It doesn't make a difference. We both know that there is not enough lifeboats on the ship to save even half for the passengers on the ship. All I know, and I know I will sound selfish when I say this, but we are in the first class and that secures our safety if we have to load the lifeboats," I stated. He sighed and looked at me.
"I know, that was the first thought that went through my head. At the very least, you will be on the lifeboats that will take you away from the sinking ship," he said. I looked at him.
"I am not going without you," I told him. He grabbed my arms and stared into my arms. I stared at my ex-Officer who would be the only man on the ship that would talk to his fiancée about what to do if the ship sinks.
"You will on any ship that we travel on that may sink. If the ship sinks and lifeboats are loaded, you will go on the lifeboats and leave me if that is what we need to do," he stated. I crossed my arm, a very unladylike action, and stared at him.
"I promised you that I wouldn't leave you," I whispered as tears welled up in my eyes. He held my cheeks and I felt a few tears fall over to my cheeks.
"And I promised myself that nothing bad will ever happen to you," he said. I sniffled and he put his forehead against my own.
"I love you," I muttered against the need to cry. He wiped my eyes and stood straight.
"But we are on the unsinkable ship called the Titanic. We will never sink in this ship. In fact, we might even reach the New York shore a day early," he said. I smiled even though silent tears rolled down my cheeks.
"I think we shall wear our Sunday best tomorrow. Hats, gloves and all," I stated. He laughed and nodded.
"Certainly, what other way is there to act on Sunday," he said. I smiled and he hugged me. "Let's go to bed before we pass out right here." I laughed as he escorted me to the bedroom so we could sleep.
