Jeanine:

I didn't think I'll ever see him again. Like ever again.

Especially at my gym.

"What are you guys doing in Ottawa?" I asked after letting them join me and Taylor at the table near the smoothie bar.

"Touring through. We're only here for three days then we go back to Toronto, back home." Geoff said.

I met him a few years back because I was friends with his niece, and I know it's weird but I had a crush on his younger brother. Yeah. But I'm over that now.

"That's nice. Are you guys then on break?" I asked, looking at Shawn. Waiting for him to answer the question but he just looked at me.

"Yes." Geoff said and I bit down on my lip to hide my laughter. Why can't Shawn answer the questions himself? "I don't mean to be rude but I have to go. I'll see you again on Thursday J." Taylor said and I gave him a hug before he left.

"Why aren't you saying anything?" I asked, looking Shawn dead in the eye after Geoff stood up and went to the bathroom. "I don't know what to say." He said, his cheeks turning a light crimson red.

Just like when I ran into him at the bathroom yesterday after the show.

"So when I asked you a question you didn't know how to say yes or no?" I asked, teasing him. "I'm sorry." He laughed. His smile is just so gorgeous.

"So what's your answer?" He asked after a while of pure silence and us just looking at each other.

He looked over his shoulder before looking back at me, almost leaning closer, whispering to me. "On?" I asked, a bit confused. He didn't ask me a question? "Will you let it die or let it grow?" He said.

Then I remember the rose.

Oooh.

"You're really serious about that?" I looked at him with big eyes. I know he is Shawn Mendes, and we're sitting here like best friends, I'm just that open with people and can talk to anyone as if I've known them forever.

But I never thought he was serious about wanting to see me again. Why me? "Of course." He said.

The expression on his face telling me that he really is dead serious about this situation and he's wanting an answer from me.

"Well I-" but before I could finish my sentence Geoff came back. "What did I miss?" He asked with that cheeky little smile of his. "Not much." Shawn said, smiling down at his hands.

"Yeah. Not much." I said, blushing as Shawn looked back up at me with the same, big smile on his face.

His eyes never leaving me, although I'm in my own conversation with Geoff about his niece.

Every now and then I'll glance over to him and he'll just smile, all over again.

Making me blush even more.
