Shawn:

She walked off after hugging me and that was probably it.

I lost her.

I wish I gave her the time to explain, and when she did, why didn't I react? Nate practically forced her to shut me out and be with him. And I was closed to let her explain.

"Brian!" I yelled as I came into my condo after about an hour on the roof.

"No. Now you listen to me. Why did you do that? Why did you have to tell her that she's only after your fame and fortune. She loves you Shawn! Do you really think she would've gone through all this trouble, put her brother and best friend on the line just to tell you what's actually going on! She wasn't protecting anyone else but you." He yelled.

"I know! I know! I messed up. She told me about Nate and what he did. Please Brian you need to tell me where she is." I cried out to him and he sighed. "She left." He said and I plonked down on the seat, resting my head in my hands as the tears blurred my vision.

"About two minutes ago." He added, making my head shot up to him.

"Go!" He yelled and I grabbed my keys before running down the stairs and out the front of the lobby.

Just as I was about to get into my car I saw her figure sitting on the bench outside the building, her head rested in her hands.

"Jeanine." I said and rushed up to her. "Shawn I'm so sorry." She cried and I crouched down infront of her, cupping her cheeks in my hands and wiping away her tears.

"No. I'm sorry. I should've gave you a chance to explain." I said, feeling the tears pricking in my eyes. She cupped my cheek, wiping away my falling tear before playing with the hair at the back of my neck.

"I wish we could run off together. I wish we could walkd the streets, hand in hand and not care what the world will say about that. I wish we could be together. But the two different worlds we live in keeps pulling us apart." She said sniffing and biting down on her lip to hide her sob.

"No please don't say that. We can be together. I don't want to hide you Jeanine." I said taking her hand in mine, but she shook her head. Closing her eyes as more tears streamed down her cheeks.

She's in pain, heartache.

"Maybe that was a sign. That night on the ferris wheel. I'm sorry that I caused you trouble." She croaked out. "It was the best time of my life. Having you by my side. Making trouble and going on adventures. Please don't leave me." I begged as she stood up and walked down the sidewalk.

"Where are you going?" I yelled, making her stop in her tracks and turn back to me. "I don't know." She cried, running her hands through her hair as she looked around.

"Please stay with me. Even if it is only one more night. So I can just hold you one last time, kiss you goodnight one more time." I whispered, leaning my forehead against hers as I caressed her cheek.

She pulled me into a tight hug, one I didn't want her to let go of.
