Shawn:
After the wedding Jeanine and I went back home with Logan. We have our honeymoon tomorrow, but we're taking him with us.
So it's more like a family vacation.
And trust me, there's no other way I'd rather spent this 'honeymoon' than with Logan and Jeanine.
"So, Mrs. Mendes. How does it feel to carry the title?" I chuckled as I wrapped my arms around her waist, feeling her hands brushing through the hair at the nape of my neck. "Finally. Feels like I've been waiting forever." She chuckled, pressing her lips to mine.
It's still the best feeling ever to get to hold her, kiss her and now... fully and lawfully call her my wife.
My wife.
"Yeah. We had to wait longer because of that stinker." I said, nodding my head over my shoulder to Logan sitting on the carpet. "Oh my gosh Shawn! Look!" She said, gasping loudly as she chuckled, turning me around.
I saw Logan pressing himself up on the sofa, his eyes big as his mouth fells open and small giggles left his lips. "Yes! Okay, come here." I crouched down, a step away from him and held my arms out. He smiled as he looked up at Jeanine. "Common Lo. You can do it." She laughed, crouching down next to me.
He slowly let go of the couch with his hands but collapsed to his knees. "Oh, careful." I grasped his hand in mine and helped him up again. He's standing on his own feet now but I'm still holding onto his hands.
He needs the support.
"Common my boy. Take a step." I said softly, still on to his hands. He lifted his one foot in the air, letting it drift on the wind and Jeanine just laughed. "Common Logan. Take a step." She chuckled, making him laugh.
He placed his foot down, dragging the other one closer.
"That counts! That counts as a step." I laughed, feeling Jeanine wrapping her arms around my neck from behind. She rested her chin on my shoulder as we still watched Logan stepping closer.
"Aaah you need to stop grow up so fast! Before we know time will run out and you'll be all grown up." I said, pouting as I watched my boy falling into my arms and smiling up at me.
God I love him so much.
"Every second is a special one. A given one. We just need to make the best of every day." She whispered, pecking my cheek before gently caress Logan's head.
"He looks exactly like you when you were little." She laughed, making both him and me smile.
"Today was a good day." I said, turning around as I sat crossed leg on the floor infront of her where she sat on the coffee table. "Today was an amazing day." She smiled, brushing her fingers through my hair.
"Hunny, my hair!" I groaned playfully and she dodged my head to the side. "You're unbelievable." She rolled her eyes.
"But you love me. And I love you. That's undeniable." I smiled before she leaned down, crashing her lips to mine.
