Shawn:

When I gave her a hug, it just felt right.

I know this is really bizarre but, she's grown on me. And ever since I met her yesterday, saw her at the gym today and meeting up with her now, I can't get her out of my mind.

"Thank you for letting it grow." I said with a small smirk, looking over to her as we sat down on the bench.

"Sure. But what does that mean?" She asked, pulling her legs up to her chest. "Well, I'm not actually one for doing this but you sure caught my attention yesterday at the show. And I would love to get to know you better." I said and she smiled.

I know her cheeks are probably burning red by now but I can't see that in the dark. "Okay, but isn't that a bit weird. I mean you are you, and I'm just simply me." She shrugged and I smiled.

"And that's why I like you." I said and stood up. "Can I please take you home." I asked, holding out my hand to help her up. "Is that why you wanted to meet up? At this time of the nigh. Call me up out of bed just so you can take me home because you couldn't this morning?" She laughed.

Her laughing and smile is so beautiful.

"One of the reasons yes." I smiled and she took my hand, standing up from the bench. "And the other?" She asked.

Just as she got on her feet she miss stepped the small step up to the bench. "Oh my gosh!" She laughed as I grabbed onto her arms. "Don't worry. I swear I'm not drunk." She said and I started laughing.

"But the other reason was that I just wanted to see you." I said softly as she brushed a stand of hair behind her ear. "Will your boyfriend be okay with us being friends?" I asked, suddenly remembering the guy who was with her at the show.

Nick, I think.

"What. No. Ryan isn't my boyfriend." She said, furrowing her eyebrows together, "I don't have one. Where did you get that?" She chuckled as we walked to my car.

"Then who was that guy who was on his phone during the Q&A? Nick?" I asked and stopped right infront of my car.

"That's my brother. Nick." She said and I just had a lightbulb moment. "Oooh." I said and she started cracking up. "Common. I wanna drive you home." I said and opened the door for her as she got it.

"Thank you." She said, sounding almost shyly, giving my a warm feeling in my heart. I walked over to my side of the car and got in. I smiled over to her and her eyes light up.

She's amazing.

I like her so much, and even if I only get a friendship out of this.

I'm over the moon.
