Jeanine:

💕1 week later💕

I just landed in LA and I can't wait to get to Shawn. I got a cab and told the driver where to go before he sped off and dropped me at the hotel where Shawn is staying.

I got out, got my crushes and waddled up the stairs to the lobby, asking where his room is.

The flight actually went really good, and I was worrying about my healt and things. But it went good.

I got to the elevator and went to his floor before searching for the room number. I knocked on the door, my smile growing at an uncontrollable pace as I heard the footsteps coming closer to the door. "Geoff!" I laughed as he opened the door. "Hey. It's good to see you're back on your own feet. Or well, foot." He said, pulling me into a hug and I laughed at his statement that he referred to my crutches.

He let me in and I looked around for Shawn.

"Hello darling." I smiled but he didn't smile back. He didn't even do anything. He looked at me and walked back to his room. "What was that all abo-" but Geoff cut me off. "You. He's mad because you came." He said and I laughed and unbelievable laugh.

"So what? He's not happy to see me? Happy that I actually came to him, rather than ending up in the hospital again!" I said and went to his room.

"Shawn." I said knocking on the door, but he didn't answer. I opened the door and saw him sitting at his laptop with his guitar. "Hey. Why are you mad at me?" I asked, walking closer to him but he kept on ignoring me.

"Shawn. I know you didn't want me to come but you're in a bad place, I'm in a bad place. I thought we just needed each other." I sat down on the edge of his bed and looked at him.

His back facing me.

"Shawn can you please just look at me?" I chuckled and he turned around in an aggressive way. "Jeanine! This is no joke. You could've literally died by stepping onto that plane!" He yelled and I flinched at his sudden burst of anger.

"Well I didn't." I said in a 'duh' tone, but regretted it the instant I did. Seeing now, that this is not the time to test his patience.

"Yeah. But it never crossed your mind right? It never crossed your mind about what it'll do to the people you leave behind." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"What people? Mum and Dad didn't even call to hear about what happened nor how I am. Nick left just like everyone else. Brian and Ryan tried doing good but that also wasn't great in your eyes. And you... you're just in a bad place and now taking it all out on me. So who! Who will I disappoint or leave with hurt when everybody clearly wants nothing do do with crooked old Jeanine!" I yelled, my vision blury from the tears building up.

"Obviously you'll see it that way." He said and turned his back in me again. "I thought I did good, coming here to see you. To support you. But I guess it was my mistake." I said and stood up, grabbing my crutches again and walking out to the door.

He still haven't done anything.

"Oh, and you can keep this. Because clearly this ain't working." I said and placed my ring down on the table by the door. Walking out, grabbing my bag and leaving again.

Not even saying goodbye.

"The airport please." I said as I got int he cab. Tears rolling down my cheeks as my heart only broke more, driving away from the hotel.

Just a week ago, he told me all the things he loves about us, things he'll miss, and he asked me to marry him. I've learned two things out of this trip.

1) Just how quickly something can happen and how quickly you can lose someone. And 2) Just how fast you can fall out of love.

I arrived at the airport and walked to bookings. "Are there still tickets left to Toronto?" I asked and the lady checked her computer. "Yes. But only for one bag passengers." She said and I showed her my little backpack before handing her my card and she got me the ticket.

I just want to go home now, die in a hole and just forget the worlds existence.
