💕Next day💕

I woke up early today, not because I wanted to but I just couldn't sleep any more or any longer than now.

The excitement that the day holds is already taking over my mind, thoughts and entire body. I walked out to the balcony of Brian's apartment and looked out as the sunrises.

The wind slightly blowing and I closed my eyes, hearing the cars passing underneath and I thought about Jeanine.

I remember that morning Jeanine and I were in LA for her family event, watching the sunrise. And when we're at the cabin and she showed me how she sees things.

God, I love her so much.

Today's the day.

To day I get to marry her, the love of my life. I still don't know how I got this lucky to have her and get to call her mine, but here I am, saying that. Saying that I get to have her in my life and love her unconditionally.

It's a privilege.

An honor.

"Hey. You were up early." Brian said, rubbing his eyes as he walked out from his room. "Yeah. Couldn't really sleep any longer." I smiled, brushing my hand through my hair. I noticed an envelope in his hands and I pointed to it, looking at him with my eyebrows furrowed together. "What's that?" I chuckled and he handed it to me.

He didn't even have to say anything, for I recognized the handwriting on the front. I smiled, walking back to my room and sitting down on the bed as I opened up the letter to read it.

'Hey. You probably already know who this is from and for that I don't need any introduction.' I laughed reading her statement about her not needing an introduction.

But it's true though. She's a statement on her own.

'So today's the day. Today we're getting married. I don't really know what or how I'm feeling about it, nor do I know what to say exactly. But all I know is that all the nerves, fears and insecurities are overplayed by the excitement I have. Shawn, I can't wait to walk down that isle and finally get to marry you. Say my 'I do'. It's literally a dream come true because as a fan, that's the entire Army's dream. And for me, it came true. Like, how insane is that? Thank you for sticking with me, loving me in the hardest times, supporting me when I didn't had any strength, for still fighting and not giving up on me or us. But mostly I want to thank you for the life you've given me, the memories and moments. Thank you for the most beautiful son in the world and for being the most amazing father ever. I love you with all my heart.

I wiped a falling tear from my cheek as I smiled down at the letter. "Did her writer senses brought a tear in your eye, or did you give yourself a paper cut with the opening of the letter?" Brian asked and my head shot up to see him leaning against the doorframe.

I playfully glared at him and he just laughed, putting his hands up in surrender and walking out. Now I need to get ready for the wedding. We're going in my car but it's just me and Brian driving to the beach.

We kept the promise, like we planned, the wedding on the beach wih only the closest friends and family. We're meeting all the other boys there of course, before the wedding starts.

My dreams are finally all coming true, and it warms my heart to think about how far I've come.
