Shawn:

I could see that Jeanine was on edge about this. But she seems calm and ready.

I know she can do this.

She's really open to people so this won't be hard, it's like that first time we met. I saw my mom, dad and sister sitting at the back end of the restaurant and I gave Jeanine's hand a reassuring squeeze, smiling down at her as we walked up to my family.

She looks so beautiful tonight, and I'm absolutely inlove with her dress. She should get married to me, in something similar to this dress.

"Shawn!" Aaliyah said and stood up to greet me, as my parents stood up too. "Hello." I said, giving them all a hug and kiss. I took Jeanine's hand in mine again and smiled.

This is now happening.

"Mom, Dad, Aaliyah. This is my girlfriend and number one fan, Jeanine." I said, smiling at her. Aaliyah immediately hugged her and my dad winked at me as Jeanine went to greet my mom. "Good job." My mom whispered as she walked past with.

This is already starting to be amazing.

We took our seats opposite my parents and got given our menus. I saw Jeanine breathing heavily and as she held the menu up, it was shaking. "Hey. It's okay." I chuckled, kissing her cheek and she smiled as her cheeks started to glow from blushing.

"Sweetie we won't bite. This is family now." My mon laughed, placing her hand over Jeanine's on the table. "Sorry. I never met someone's family. I just need a few minutes and trust me, then you'll ask for me to shut up." She laughed, and my family laughed along.

We order our food and drinks came as we all started talking. Jeanine joining in on the conversations as well, enjoying the heck out of it.

I just smiled at her, leaning my chin in my hand as I observed her every move. She's out of her box now and my parents are enjoying her conversations as much as I do.

She kept her eyes on my parents and continued talking as she took my hand in hers under the table. Intertwining our fingers and I blushed, sitting up straight.

My mom locked eyes with me and she winked at me.

That's the best.

Now I know that she loves her, and Aaliyah is amazed by her as well. I can see them becoming best friends. When our food came my dad made a toast for on my birthday and we started eating.

I have a party later tonight at a hotel and all my friends will be there, Nick, Jeanine and Brian will also come.

This is so exciting, and I'm so happy Jeanine is enjoying this time.

I thought this would be weird but I soon got out of my little box and really enjoyed the night with Shawn's family. I don't even have words to describe it.

His family was so nice to me, letting me join into this dinner and talking the hell out of them. And his sister, gosh, his sister is so beautiful.

Same with his mum.

They are a blessed family, all of them are gorgeous.

Dinner with the Mendes's was extremely fun.
